when i 1st got this, i was amazed at its power, i set it up to my liking, did all the updates and played with for a few days. then packed it in a nice laptop case and backpack. only brought it out to show it off. just about 3 months or so, it wouldn't turn on any more. i know it had a full charge, but i charged it again. with the OG plug. nothing, even tried to do a hard reset. bricked and no more warranty. so if you get this, order the extended warranty.UPDATE:: replaced my PC even after the warranty was up. awesome customer service. Let you know how it does....

Exceed my expectation, runs really well. just a little short on battery life for about 2 1/2 not more than 3 hours, it runs quite warm as well, otherwise, it's a well built mini pc.

This is a bit of a niche product - a mini pc with a screen. That said, I see some use cases for it like the following:- traveling light and don't want to take a laptop, but would be nice to have something in case of emergency- again traveling, knowing a keyboard and/or display is awaiting at the destination- ignoring the screen most of the time (just using like any other mini pc) with the screen available mostly for diagnosticsI've run it through several tests as listed below- run stand alone; running with the usb c going to a dock station for keyboard, mouse and display, using the hdmi port for the external monitor - all worked- updated windows (not so much a test, but something I needed to do) - it worked- tried booting to Ubuntu using a thumb drive (worked after some bios boot fiddling)*- ran it as I would use this when travelling (web, streaming, etc. but nothing too demanding) - works fine for that* When I tried the Ubuntu, I didn't have as much success with the external monitor (in the usb case it didn't work, in the hdmi case the pc was in vertical with one screen, the monitor was landscape with an mostly empty view). I think these issues could be resolved if I were really installing Ubuntu vs. just trying it out.Note, I've seen some comments about some of the models running loud or hot. Mine is certainly not loud - if I put my ear right to it, I can hear it - 6 inches away, I cannot. The device does get warm, never to an extent that concerned me even when doing the windows update which kept the IO and cpu busy for a while.It's a lot of a little pc for a good price and I think it will work for the scenarios I listed above and maybe more. It does have a few drawbacks to be aware of however as follows:- only has a small couple of page manual and nothing on-line - can I upgrade the memory? don't know no good manual- The screen is really very tiny for a full windows (not phone optimized) desktop- The power button is very easy to hit accidentally and put the pc into sleep mode. I purchased it to transfer my photos while traveling to an external hard disk (the Heigaola) with the ability to review them on a screen bigger than my camera. It worked for the purpose. I would have given it 4 stars (5 if there was a fan as heating was a problem). The major issue however was that after 4 months the unit just dies. Will not charge or turn on. I reached out to the manufacturer and their US distribution operation and of course received no reply.

Best micro computer ever

Bought this unit for a specific purpose, needed small tablet size for thundermax tuner application. Works as expected for the program side. Unit claims to have a cooling fan. Searched the whole unit for ways to utilize a "fan" due to temps reaching close to 350° (tested with ir temp guage) no fan turned on and no option to turn on. Hit that temp within 5 minutes.Wont charge. Used one cycle till internal battery needed charged. Hooked up to outlet expecting a full charge after an evening on charger. Instead unit drained all remaining charge and never was able to turn on again. Worst investment ever. Never purchase this computer. It will not work for you.

I purchased this hoping for a good side pc that I could use for my smart home devices and other mundane pc tasks.The battery does not last 5 hours, regardless of how I use this machine.The 12V DC power port doesn’t seem to work, at all.The onboard WiFi is hit or miss, regardless of proximity to my access points.Charging this pc is another hit or miss issue. I went for a full 2 weeks unable to use because the battery died. I finally bought another charger and the device will charge, but very slowly. And, yes, before anyone asks, I enabled fast charging in the EFI as well.I want to like this little guy but there are just too many basic issues that give this pc a 2 star rating.
