Good quality Aluminum Window. Rough open is the window size.
Windows seem to be great. Quality good. No issues. Maybe it’s obvious, but the size of the rough opening is the listed window size. So a 12” x 18” window needs a 12” x 18” rough opening and a ln 18” x 23” window needs an 18x23 rough opening (plus maybe a little extra wiggle room).

Durable, easy to install
These were the perfect measurement i was looking for- I had to shave off a little around the wood frame to get them to fit, but that’s just because I built the frame before I even decided to order these windows. They seem to work great and it’s awesome they actually can open and close instead of just being one solid pane. I haven’t put on vinyl yet, but it seems like j channel will cover the screws.Update: the vinyl j channel works great to cover the screws if anyone is using vinyl. Just line up the trim how you want it to look and nail it in, making sure you don’t accidentally nail into the metal frame around the window

Cute windows!
We bought these windows for a chicken coop. When we received them, the box appeared to be too small to house both of these items. When we opened it, we were surprised on the appearance of the windows. They are just the right size along with being decently manufactured. They are not the highest quality, so, if you are expecting something of excellent quality...shop elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a good looking window of a decent price and quality, these are good for your project.

Great inexpensive shed windows
Great inexpensive shed windows. Easy to install. Worked perfect to add some natural light in our rather dark shed. They open and close with ease. I hand drove roofing nails instead of using the screws they had sent with the windows so I could get a flush mount install in order to encase the windows with LP trim.
