Nice little unit for keeping low power electronics running!
I bought this smaller UPS to keep my Fiber ONT running when there's an outage or a power blip (the rest of my network - APs, Switch, Gateway etc) is already on a rack-mounted UPS so this ONT was my 'single point of failure' when we lose power for a while. It's a well made, smaller UPS. It's quite basic, with a power button for turning it on and off, some simple LED indicators to show power or battery mode, and an alarm for when the power is out. It wasn't super obvious to me that the battery-protected ports were the black 'normal' looking plug sockets and not the white ones. At first I had the ONT plugged into the wrong sockets and wasn't sure why it didn't work. (The white ones are surge only, no battery backup)It's powered by a single 5Ah battery. It transitions to battery mode on the loss of power instantly, there's not interruption at all for the device(s) being powered, and I figure based on some rough math that it might keep my low power ONT running for 45 minutes or so. I will test that completely at some point. The instructions state that you have to fully charge the battery before first use, so I left it plugged in overnight before I used it.I'm impressed. It's a low cost, basic UPS that should work perfectly for a use case like this. Given the small battery I wouldn't think it will keep much running for very long, and it's rated for lower than most desktop PCs will consume when they're working hard... So modems, routers, ONT units, maybe a switch or two... but don't expect to protect much more than that.Once I've tested how long this keeps my ONT running for I'll update my review. I also might try to find a 12V 7Ah battery that fits this unit... again, based on my calculations that would increase the time it'll keep devices on by about 40%... but I intend to experiment and find out!Impressive little unit! Perfect for something like this!

If you're not tech-savvy, this is a great Battery Backup
I bought this UPS to keep my home TV and router powered during outages, and overall, it's been solid. It keeps my fiber modem running for over two hours, which is clutch when the power cuts out. The design is sleek and doesn’t take up much space—definitely a plus. For the price, it's a decent value. That said, the battery life and quality are hit-or-miss. Some users (me included) say it holds power well, but others have had it die even after a full 12-hour charge. Build quality seems decent, but again, some folks got lemons and reported defects out of the box.The instructions are barebones—if you're not tech-savvy, you might scratch your head a bit. Also, be aware the fan can get noisy when it's running on battery power. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you're using it in a quiet room.

Buy if you have $50 to burn
Follow all the directions - read the entire user pamphlet-- it works once then stops working. Had tech-savvy SIL take a look at it and he got the same results. Ergo, my recommendation is buy only if you feel the odds will be with you and yours will work.

Keeps our fiber ONT running for 2+ hours with the power out
Got this late April 2025 to keep our Nokia fiber ONT (XS-250WX-A) running for a bit in case of an outage. The modem doesn’t flinch when I pull the UPS plug out of its outlet, and for the two hours that I had it unplugged the fiber modem kept working just fine. It might last quite a bit longer, but 2h is already great for our use case. The big unknown for us is battery longevity in a hot garage. I’ll update the review when the battery degrades to the point of becoming unusable. It’s the same chemistry as car batteries though, which last 3+ years in the Florida heat, so I’m hoping this unit will continue to work for at least that long.

Never Lose Internet!
This is an affordable unit with surge protection and power backup for small devices. It's heavy and sturdy and does exactly what it's meant to do. No more, no less. The two white colored outlets on it are for surge protection and the other 5 black outlets are the battery backup and surge protection. It has no screen but has LEDs and beeps different tones for warnings. It's perfect to plug in your cable modem, router, house cameras, or a laptop. Great value!
