My sister raved so much about the pixie disc that I knew I had to try it. I love that this bundle comes with 2 different sizes and an applicator. I also went ahead and purchased the microwaveable Pixie Menstrual Cup Compact Sterilizer (so handy for cleaning/sterilizing!). The discs are easy to insert and comfortable to wear. Unfortunately I kept leaking (with both sizes and whether I used the applicator or not). That was a little disappointing because I love the product and was really hoping these would work well for me. I reached out to the company for help and was very impressed by their customer service! They included an instructional video with some tips and “troubleshooting” but when I continued to experience leakage they offered to send me the cup to try instead of the disc. I plan to try the cup for my next cycle and I am really hoping it works better for me. These products are a game changer and while I am still trying to figure out which product works best for me, I don’t think I would ever go back to using tampons. Highly recommend this company and giving their products a try!

The BEST feminine product to date!! I have used several other cups and discs and this far surpasses them all. Do yourself a favor and get the package WITH the applicator- it is amazingly helpful, along with the “string” to remove the disc. When I first used it I wasn’t so sure I’d like the string part it felt a little funky but I quickly got used to it and it made the removal sooo much easier! I have only used the medium size and it worked perfectly for my most of my cycle I received the kit on the second day of my cycle - I can imagine the large would be great for the first heavier day. The disc is also very easy to clean and the kit came with all the essentials to get started! Grateful for this product!

This applicator is a game-changer! I had always wanted to try a more sustainable solution compared to tampons, but I was hesitant due to insertion difficulties and some anatomy challenges. Finding this applicator is what inspired me to finally try, and also motivated me to choose Pixie over other brands out there.At the time of purchase, I had long nails, but even without the long nails. I knew I'd struggle to insert a disc. The applicator definitely helps. I'm still getting used to it, but (as other reviews have said) Pixie support via email and YouTube videos has been hugely helpful, and there is the size guarantee as an added safety net. When I first opened the box, I was a little nervous about the size, but it was nothing to worry about! It is larger than a super tampon applicator, but it hasn't caused me any issues.For that applicator, sometimes the pieces don't slide as easily due to their material, however, if you use a tiny bit of lube as they recommend, they slide much more easily. Since you can leave the disc in for up to 12h, I make sure to apply it at home, so that I have everything on hand. Cleaning is very easy and takes seconds! If I needed to travel, the little carrier makes it more portable, but I haven't crossed that bridge yet.There is one tip that would have helped me starting out - when you enter the two pieces into each other, there is a little ridge that will click when they go together. Click it in BEFORE you try to insert! Before I realized this, I was confused at why it was taking so much force and still getting stuck. As long as you click when you put the 2 pieces together with the disc inside, insertion will be MUCH smoother sailing!The biggest improvement I would recommend (as has been suggested by some other reviews) is to add a bit more of a wide base of the plunger where your finger pushes to insert. When adding lube as recommended, this thing gets slippery and with the silicone, it can be a little hard to hold it still and push the plunger. Having a wider, flat base would make it easier for me to hold it still and get the leverage to push and insert.Despite this suggestion, and the fact that it takes some time to get used to, I am so thankful for this product. It has totally unblocked me from trying the discs that I've wanted to try for so long! Would definitely recommend to try this! Here's to my 2025 resolution of not using any disposable period products!

The discs didn’t work for me but the 5 stars is for their customer service. They were quick to respond, issue a full refund, and send me a different product to try free of charge. I hope the cups work better because I do love what the company is doing so far. The little bags are so cute and I loved the plant based lube and other goodies it comes with. It made the whole experience less intimidating for someone like myself that has never used a diva cup or disc before.

Edited to add- company stands behind product and reached out about the issues I had. I’d give it a try. Going to cut the string and see if that helps.They function just fine, but I found the string to be uncomfortable. It’s a nice peace of mind or if you’re someone who struggles to remove a traditional disk, but I found it not necessary. The applicator was very hard to use. I found it easier to use without the applicator. Overall a fine product but I wasn’t a fan of the added string and applicator.

WOW! I’ve been using Pixie cup 3-4 years now without any problems. Something prompted me to try the applicator. Great instructions! I used it and it is a total game changer!!!!! I can not believe it was soo much easier! I am in shock and in love! it looks big…..but it actually makes the cup smaller in width than you can hold with your fingers. I dont know if I will ever go back to using just my hands! This was an amazing experience and sooo much easier!

What an amazing company, I have really bad carpel tunnel, and with there being virtually no flange, I have to rely on pinch power rather than squeeze power to even try to use it. I really would love it if they made the flange wings much wider. The company reached out, and said they do have a redesign in the mix! Great news!

It’s works well while learning how to use the disc. My anatomy hasn’t made this product easy to use however. After three kids, I’m a bit tilted down there and had a hard time accurately placing to prevent any leakage. I’m sure it’s very helpful for others, but I’ve had to go back to tampons mid way through using the disc because it just doesn’t have give coverage even while using the applicator.
