Great voice recorder and build quality feels premium
Have had this voice recorder for a week or 2 now and if you're looking for a small simple to use and all round great quality voice recorder then this is more than enough.Ease of use-Extremely easy to use is no different to any of the recorders is this price range a simple flick of a switch powers on and another flick of the recording switch starts recording it really couldn't be anymore simple than that.Forwards and backwords buttons to scroll through recordings which also if held down will fast forward and rewind.Build quality-Great build quality, feels professional and looks great too.Recording quality-I have used this to record phone calls due to a personal matter and you don't realise just how handy these little recorders are, i know that everytime i press record it's doing its job and i can focus on the conversation I'm having. The recording quality its great and so is the built in speakers to listen back to recordings but if you were to be using this to record lectures or business meetings you can plug the device into a laptop or computer and play the recorded files through the laptop speakers if the audio from the recorder is not loud enough for you.Battery life-I have not charged this device, it had come with full charge and i have used it on 2/3 conversations all over 15mins and it still has full charge.Overall a handy little device that does what it says and in my opinion is no different to the other voice recorders which are £10 more.I'm not an amazon reviewer nor anything to do with the company of the device, just enjoy leaving honest reviews for products that are great value and do what they say.

Excellent digital voice recorder for home, work or uni.
Exactly what I was looking for. I needed a dictaphone/voice recorder to record meeting notes for work. I also have a digital audio diary which I keep for personal reasons. The Homder voice recorder is small, compact, well-designed and the audio capture is excellent. It would fit in your pocket easily. It has stereo recording and playback, either through the little speakers or via the headphone jack. It was fully charged when it arrived and the battery life is excellent. A USB cable is included for charging and for copying files between your computer or laptop and the recorder. A full menu system allows you to set the language and date and time - helpful if you want your recordings stored in chronological order. There are plenty of other settings to tweak and play with if you want to - the fully comprehensive and pleasantly surprisingly well-written manual goes into all the detail you need. You can change the recording quality, whether the AVR (Activated Voice Recording) is set, room setting, whether or not the LED recording light is on or off, recording file division size, and auto shutoff period. However, I must stress that these are all options - the device will work perfectly well out of the box. Switch it on, press the record button and you're good to go. The display screen is small due to the compact size, so people like me who are in our advancing years may need our reading glasses on to see the display properly. The display shows you everything you need to know about your recordings (date, time, length, recording time left, etc.I am really impressed with the quality of audio that it picks up, even if the device is far away from the speaker or other audio source. I would recommend the Homder Digital Voice Recorder to anyone who needs to record voice or other audio for work, school, university or personal use.As an added bonus you could even use it as an MP3 player.

Nice piece of tech for note taking
I purchased this to assist me in keeping a record of meetings/calls as I have issues holding a pen and writing for long periods due to a health issue.I used it today during a 20 minute phone call. I had my iPhone on speaker and the device about 15-20cm away from it while I was sat at my dining room table. I hadn't changed any of the default recording settings. When I played back the recording, I was really impressed. Both my voice and the callers were clear and very easy to hear, in fact it was a bit disconcerting at first hearing myself back, as I could hear the change in the inflection of my voice when I was responding to a query from the caller!I have given it a 4* rating more on the aesthetics of the device:The build quality is good, it feels robust. The buttons for operation are small and a little bit 'fiddly' but functionally good.I would as someone suggested, read through the manual a couple of times as although the simple slide button to start recording and slide to stop is very simple and intuitive, the use of the volume and next/previous buttons when you access the menu function are a bit confusing. I did set the date & time, but had to double check which of the buttons moved the cursor etc. The screen is obviously very small but with my reading glasses could read the numbers etc.In regard to battery/power all I can say is I used it straight out of the box. I have spent about 20 minutes setting time/date, did a couple of test recordings lasting a couple of minutes each and on the 20 minute call, and the battery indicator hasn't changed.Overall am very happy with it! :-)
