Very supportive
They're expensive, but they definitely make a difference to a shoe that lacks support or need more cushioning.I use them in walking boots and make a huge difference to long walks.

Worth looking into
I love these insoles. They fit my size 5 trainer perfectly & mould to my feet. I don’t think my foot strike is as hard as it once was. As an older runner I think they help me have less of a stiff back after the run. They are on the pricey side but if they have longevity then price doesn’t matter!

EFFECTIVE ENERTOR
On the good side, the heel lift is good in that it reduces the stretch on the achilles tendon and there is definitely some energy return or " rebound ' off them when running. On the slightly negative side the arch support is very subtle and seemed minimal to me, Additionally there is the weight aspect to consider, a UK 7-9 weighs in at around 48 grams--- so replacing a 20 gram conventional paper insole with them adds around 28 grams to your shoe -- around a whole ounce which arguably negates the potential benefit of any energy return. Then we consider this shock absorbing " rebound ' action, it's a strange sensation akin to the after effects of running around a track rather than on the road and it can make your calves a little stiff. Of course given time you'd probably get used to this and you'd be less stiff in the aftermath of running. I tried the notorious" egg test " on a sorbothane cushstep insole and the egg didn't break on those either but it didn't bounce as high which is food for thought. Overall a decent product but a bit exspensive-- that said, if they work for you and cure a achilles or plantar problem they'd be worth every red cent

Pillow feet
Was sceptical of these and their claimed benefits but after a few years of on & off running due to knee/it band injury’s these seem to do the job. Easy to fit, comfortable to run in & no injury’s. Nice job.

Too small, arch too high
Buy in-store. Try on before purchasing. You can’t return these.I have found the fit of these to be too small for a UK Nike size 8. I got the 7-8. I would recommend going for the larger size than your shoe size, ie I should have gone for a size 8-9.Given how they are manufactured, the arch sits up really high if the fit isn’t perfect. It would be painful to run in these. It would exacerbate my existing injury.Unfortunately you can’t return online. I would highly recommend you buy these in-store.

Not for everyone
The insole arch profile made my foot ache after 5 minutes of walking and it wasn’t a great fit for my size shoe. Probably wouldn’t advise for flatterFooted runners.

Helped with my knee issue
I have been suffering pain in my right knee when running and after a bit of research I thought I'd give these a try. Previously I could only last 5k but I've now gone beyond that and the pain (so far) has disappeared.. really impressed! Size wise I run in brookes ghost 16 size 9 and Size 9-10 fit perfectly with no need to resize.

Wow
These arrived today. I took the insoles out of my Brooks Ghost Max, and replaced them with these insoles. Fit was perfect and I didn't need to make any adjustments to the size. I added some baby powder underneath after reading another review.Went out on a easy run to see how they are, in preparation for a 10k race this weekend. Only went and smashed a PB, on what was supposed to be a easy run.Felt great underfoot and I felt energised. Looking forward to seeing how they are in race conditions
