Great product for the price

Perfect for use as a natural dye! It does have a slight beet flavor and subtle sweetness so if you use alot you will notice it but it does not taste bad. I have used this in bittercream frosting and Whipped cream so far and both have turned out exactly as I was hoping.

Yes, there are occasional little lumps but that's because there's still moisture in this product, which indicates its freshness. And the lumps dissolve easily and instantly wet or dry, unlike other brands I've used. Nice taste and aroma. Very pleased with this purchase. I put the powder in my salads and smoothies and pancakes (gives them a rosy color). I've had good luck with Kiva products so far. It seems to be a very reliable brand.

Satisfied with this beet powder. Actually has a sweetness to it. Great for smoothies I sometimes add to my protein shake after a workout with some collagen & other healthy stuff. Recommend.

I bought this to color icing red. It makes a lovely reddish pink but that is it. But when left out the color fades. The more you add the more it smells like beets. Not what you want your icing to smell like. A little bit doesn’t taste but when you add a few tablespoons it tastes very earthy. I didn’t buy it for health reasons so not sure if it has any health benefits.

So easy to get beets this way! I love to add this powder to my smoothies, blends well.

I purchased this so I can tint frosting for cookies. I was able to get a nice pink and a darker pinkish red. With added extract of vanilla and strawberry the beet flavor was not noticed. I also included some ground dehydrated strawberries for the darker pinkish red. Overall I was able to achieve what I wanted. It would be fun to include this in a cake batter.
