We were so pleased when we first tried this banding kit that we immediately ordered more, and gave one to a client as well!The real strong point for this kit is how easy the clamps are to add, compared to other cut-to-length banding we've used. There is no need for awkward bending the band back on itself: you just thread the screw holder onto one end, bend the tape up and down once, and then thread the live end around the object being clamped and straight into the worm screw. Nor do you have problems getting the worm screw to grip or stay in position when you thread the live end in.The screw can take a fair bit of tension - maybe due to everything being stainless steel - but we certainly don't have to squeeze the sides of the screw holder with a pair of pliers, like with many other sets. Despite being stainless steel, the banding is easy to cut with a normal pair of pliers, though we tend to squeeze then wiggle, to get a cut without sharp edges. Because the screw doesn't wander, it is easy to tighten it with a flat blade screwdriver (or a flexible hex driver). We normally use a cordless screwdriver for speed.There's enough tape for even large ducting, and you can join it easily if necessary.A very, very good kit. Definitely recommended. We won't use any other banding kits now.

Initially it's a bit confusing how to get the end through the slot to get the metal strip moving through; once that is figured out, its operation os smooth. The metal strip is solid and tough, so much so that it's hard to cut without a small metal-cutting hack saw or a pair of wire cutters.

Nothing negative for my needs. I suspect this would rust in time for what i am using for its excellent. To be able to make a clip the exact required length is a boon
