Did what it needed to do!!!
If your looking at this removal tool it’s because your fed up with trying to get off the ring. Soak the ring in a good penetrating oil (not regular wd40) and let it soak in. I had to soak for a couple hours . Give the ring some taps so it breaks the hold of the rust. Take your time and find a good holding fit for this tool on the ring then apply all your might. It will free up and start to turn. Make sure you have the arms in the right position. I found using only two arms in the middle instead of all three was the trick for me. It may be a cheap tool, But it worked on a salty winter 140k mile 2011 sonata…. Money well spent.

right tool for the job
got the part today and replace my fuel pump this evening. It comes with three prongs, but also works with installing just two. My vehicle is a 2004 Saab 9-5. Used two of the prongs - installed them and set them in the ring for the fuel pump and tightened the screws. They stayed tight and easily unscrewed the cap to the fuel pump.

Doesn't fit 2008 Kia Sedona tank
This did not fit my 2008 Kia Sedona gas tank. I had to get it done that night so I used my dremmel and ground the ends to fit the round holes on my tank seal. I made it work, but it wasn't easy.

Nice tool but....
It's a good-looking tool, but it does NOT fit the fuel tank snap ring on the Nissan Amada or the Infiniti Q56. Amazon said it did, but it doesn't fit.

Smallest is 5" NOT 4 1/2"
Purchased this to remove fuel tank ring on a 2002 Camaro SS (4 1/2" ring) and due to the design, the smallest you can ACTUALLY get the tool is 5".The idea is great, but because of the rounded ends of the tool slots, the rectangular finger mounts will not slide to 4 1/2", which is what I needed.Fortunately, it's cheap, so I'll return the 2nd one, and just grind the slot a bit longer to make the thing work.

A charm for 06 Murano fuel pumps.
Well it worked. Have a 06 Nissan murano. Had to use to lock the fuel pump ring. After 4 hours trying to do the old fashioned way I gave up. Found this tool but was skeptical. Probably the only fuel pump tool I didn’t have. Told my granddaughter she cost me a bunch of skin and lots of blood!! But took 5 minutes to do with this tool. Just make sure you tighten the bolts that hold the arms on and you won’t have any problems!!!

Didn’t work for my 2010 Corolla fuel pump replacement
Seems like a relatively solid tool, but I wouldn’t use an impact wrench with it. The casting didn’t seem to be super solid. I think it could break if you apply lots of force to it. It failed me as I tried to change my fuel pump on my 2010 Corolla with 192k miles. Because there are only 3 points of contact to the fuel pump retainer ring. It snapped some of the plastic cribs off of the ring. I returned it (with no issues) and used another tool with 9 contact points. That one worked just fine.
