The expresso blend is strong and dark with slight chocolate taste. It's brews a great head of creamy foam. Very mininimal bitter aftertaste, smooth and warming.

Always a fine and extremely tasty cup of coffee. Quit going to local coffee shops after trying KNEE BUCKLING EXPRESSO. Great coffee and great way to save big money making your own tasty cup of great coffee!

The flavor of the coffee is outstanding! I only gave it four stars because the packaging is not up to par. The coffee comes sealed in a "resealable" bag. The "seal" is a ziploc type of seal, and it will not close properly, thus letting in air in and coffee out. I had to pour the coffee into suitable containers to keep it fresh.

Been using Peet’s for years, but this is better tasting by far. We have an automatic espresso machine and this makes the best tasting espresso by far.

Update: I reached out to Stone Street Coffee to explain what happened, and they offered to send me a new fresh bag, free of charge. Outstanding customer service on their end! My warning still stands that you SHOULD NOT BUY this on Amazon if you want your coffee fresh, but I’ll update this review again once I’ve tasted the new bag.Original review:I was excited to try this, especially given there having been so many raving reviews! Based on its description, it sounds just like the kind of coffees I like best.The coffee I received is stale, and has no oily sheen. It’s just totally dead, with clearly no freshness.The bag I received is very close to the expiration date, which based on other reviews submitted here, means this was roasted at least 7 months ago.You absolutely should not buy this coffee from here, unless you don’t mind drinking old, dead coffee!

This coffee tastes (and smells) even better than I had hoped. Deep, rich, and almost sweet, with no burnt fragrance or aftertaste for a dark roast. I ground some of the beans as soon as I opened the package, and the smell was fantastic.I was concerned that the higher caffeine content would add a bitter taste, and it does not. The taste is excellent. However, this coffee is not for the faint of heart or caffeine sensitive people, and just use your brain about how much you have and when.I'm excited about making some batches of cold brew with this. Should be really smooth and strong. I also make coffee ice cream with full fat coconut milk, and I think I'm gonna like that a lot, too.Even though I shop on Amazon sometimes, I like supporting small American companies when possible, and this coffee is at a great price, so this is a winner all the way around.This review was not influenced by anyone in any way. love this coffee! having countless varieties of coffee in my 79 years of life I can say this brand is my favorite.if you love strong coffee with a smoothness and no harsh vibes, try this brand. EXCELLENT!
