Looks and smell different than regular brown sugar
Upon opening, I do notice a distinct smell. I poured into different bottle and noticed white streaks along the rim interior.

Very molasses forward flavor
Fast shipping. Pretty good tasting syrup. Very molasses forward but still good. Works well for my coffee in the morning .

the taste if not what you imagine is more of concentrated dark and almost bitter taste

This is what the fruit tea shops use!
Great! This is the brand my favorite boba tea shop uses. It’s a good price for the amount. You can make a TON of drinks. I’ve easily made 50 drinks and still have half a bottle. There are other syrups I like the flavor of better (Simply Squeeze real fruit purées), but this a better bang for the buck and lasts longer.

More like an artificial pancake syrup
It tastes and has the exact mouth feel as an artificial pancake syrup. I don’t discern anything brown sugary in the taste at all. The ingredients are more corn syrup, water, and then brown sugar last. There are better premium brown sugar mainly syrups available for the same cost on Amazon. (In fact there are better options from this very same vendor. This is not a review of the entirety of their products, just this one. I have had others from them that were great).
