Versatile amplifier
The media could not be loaded. The CoolMusic BP60D is a pretty interesting amplifier. It offers a huge range of connectivity, plenty of output power, but it still manages to be portable. While I have guitar amps I don't really have amplification for other instruments or vocals. So when I was offered the BP60D to review I jumped at the chance. The amp comes well packaged in a cardboard box with cardboard supports to protect it. Taking it out of the box and the first thing you notice is that it isn't as heavy as you would expect. The amp resembles a stage monitor with it's prism like shape. It has 2x 8inch drivers and 2 tweeters behind a metal grill at the front. Around the rear it has all the inputs and controls for each of the channels. Because the shape these are accessible from above. On the side there is a handle for transportation, and on the base 4 feet. The build is nice and solid. Though my sample did have a tiny tear in the tolex. As well as the amp you get a power supply, an aux cable and a user guide. In terms of connectivity there are two mic inputs, with the first having an attenuator switch and a 48v switch for condenser mics. Each channel has high, low, gain and reverb controls. The two guitar inputs share an EQ and FX, which include reverb and chorus/delay, but have their own gain controls. These aren't "gain" in the typical way you would regard gain on a guitar amplifier, but more to set the level of the instruments in the mix. There are also controls for the headphone out and record level. There are line in, USB and Bluetooth connections, with the latter having a control on the panel. Overall there are plenty of connections making this very versatile. In terms of sound the out put is very clear and well suited to vocals and electro acoustic guitars. Electric guitars will work but without additional FX they won't sound driven. However you could put an overdrive pedal in front of it. The Bluetooth connection works well with reasonable sound reproduction. When you crank it up the sound does lose some definition. The reasons behind this become clearer when you realise that despite having 2 drivers and tweeters the output is mono. So I suspect that a lot of the detail is being lost in mixing the stereo track into mono. The output is quite powerful. It will certainly fill a medium sized room and maybe even a large one. Outdoors it should be fine depending on the size of the audience you are playing in front of. One thing I did notice is that there is some noise. This appears to be post amplifier, maybe in the crossover, as it isn't amplified. It could be picking up interference, though I did isolate my WIFI without change, or it could be from the amp itself, maybe a switching transistor? While it doesn't really effect the overall output it is somewhat annoying. Battery life is a hard one to pin down. I tested it for several hours at a relatively low level. I've seen maybe a bar drop on the indicator. However how this will stack up at 75% volume for the same period I can't really say as I am not sure my neighbours will appreciate it. Either way it is quite impressive for such a high output device. There is a lot to like about the BP60D. It has loads of connections, is well made, has good battery life and sounds pretty good for the most part. However I have to pull it up on the "noise" and the lack of stereo output for Bluetooth. With all things considered the price is about right and it is worthy of 4 stars.

Excellent :)
I'm thoroughly impressed with the portable, battery-powered 60W amplifier that doubles as a Bluetooth speaker. Its sound quality is exceptional, offering clear audio with deep, resonant bass tones. The convenience of its portability and Bluetooth connectivity makes it a versatile choice for music lovers on the move. An absolute delight for those in search of superior sound in a compact package. Highly recommended.

ok for a beginner
I found this amp medicore. The effects are not great, and you gotta wack the volume right up to max and stand very close to the mic to get any kind of volume. As a wifi speaker its lacking bass sadly which i found surprising considering its got 2 speakers, 8inch i think. The build quality is excellent, and all the knobs feel real quality when turned. Potentially it could be a great amp but the volume was a let down, and the effects arent great especially chorus, reverb was ok. For the money i suppose is not a bad amp, suited to a beginner whos not so fussy.

Great value amp
What can I say, loud enough for busking, sound quality is excellent - bright highs and rich mids and lows, for the price I honestly am over the moon. Great amp!

Very good amp with plenty of connections
This is an ideal battery powered amp for busking, playing in the garden or jamming with friends. You can connect 2 mics, 2 guitars (or other instruments), aux input and bluetooth audio all within a single dual speaker amplifier. The batteries last a good 7 hours so its going to cover most busking sessions, which is the use I would most associate with this. I have tried my electro acoustic and my electric guitar through it with good results. The flat response was ideal for my amp sim pedal giving a good overall sound.Overall the best use for this would be small intimate performances, jamming with friends or busking.
