The product is as described. It is a little small so I recommend the large for 5-6 month old boer goat wethers/kids. Looks good in the ring

I ordered a small for our 52lb goat but it was way small for her. So I got a large. It's kind of big, so we have it on the smallest notch, but it works. She'll grow into it. The material isn't leather which bummed me out bc i wanted it to last a little longer. It's a pleather feel.

This is our first year with a goat. We have a small/petite doe (for a shoe). We ended up ordering a large, and she wasn't even quite 50 pounds. The chain halter helps since it will loosen under the chin, where the rope halters tend to get tight and stay real tight. This leather/brown color also complements the color of our goat. The strap is adjustable, so you can still get good use of it if they grow for a while.

So, the first time our son showed in this some guys gave us a hard time to throw that apparatus away, lol. Well, we did not. He actually won state fair showmanship with an apparatus a couple years later. Each goat is different, so we believe you should use whatever makes them look their best. I as a parent love the snap this has. These are very good quality and we have used the same ones for many years. We have all sizes of these now.
