Good Retractable Cord
Retractable cord is a nice feature. The chrome is cheap, but doesn't effect the operation of the iron. It worked just fine. I didn't put water in it and use a bottle for spritzing so don't care if it leaks or not. The unit might not, but that seems to be a common complaint among these cheap irons. It stores in a drawer compactly because of the retractable cord and that's why I bought it.

Doing the right thing
Longer cord does help. Some folkhoe they do their jig do need to keep going over instructions starting with the fatty I stale just listen to the one your horsetail tels you of if god himself say go get you’re cleaned up and get ready God specialized He never fails He dhoushows up and shows out

Wire gets in the way
The wire is on the right side which often gets in my way when ironing. Other than that, great iron.

The Hamilton Beach Steam Iron offers excellent value for the money. I purchased my second one after owning the first for six years—and even though the original still works, it developed a minor leak due to being dropped multiple times over the years. Despite that wear and tear, its longevity and consistent performance impressed me enough to buy another. If you’re looking for a reliable, budget-friendly iron that withstands daily use (and the occasional accident), I highly recommend this product. Durability and functionality make it a worthwhile investment!

Easy to use

Didn’t last a month
I used this iron only for sewing and I used it probably on 4 projects over a couple of weeks and it stopped working. I just took it out again to see if I can get it working, it still won’t heat and when I tip it downwards in the direction you’d use it, orange rust came out from under the metal plate. It has some major malfunction where it’s not heating and holding water under metal plate. I’m replacing it today with a different brand. My last iron lasted maybe 15 years, I lent it out and didn’t get it back that’s why I bought this.
