I found the tent easy & quick to set up, on the ground, then lift it into the truck bed.I did it alone in 12mph wind. Would go much nicer with 2 people.Tent fits my 2021 Silverado with a 6.5’ bed perfectly.I tried to put it on over the rolled up tonneau cover.It can be done, but the tent liner, sits about 3” off the truck bed floor, in the front. When you place a mattress inside, it stretches the fabric & will stress the tent seams & they will eventually give way & tear.I removed the tonneau cover & rails & the fit is perfect. The flap & straps that go over the box sides should be used carefully so you don’t scratch your paint. All straps easily reach anchor points & tent sits secure.More than adequate head room.Zippers all work easily & feel solid provided you strap the tent in well & remove any tension or puckering from the zipped openings.Comes out & packs up easily.Packed tent is surprisingly small & can easily be stowed anywhere.Construction appears to be very sound. I do not expect this tent to be 100% waterproof at the seams in a heavy rain. I have yet to see a tent that truly is. I can readily see it will shed water & will be adequately water resistant.I am quite pleased for the money spent & I do recommend.

I'm very pleased with this tent.I got the 6.5 version for my Dodge Ram 1500. Make sure you double check the size of your truck bed.Perfect fit. Took about 15 minutes the first time we set it up. Instructions are OK, but was impressed that they sewed it into the carrying bag.Zippers good.Door zipper has a 1" flap to keep rain out.I love the 2 pouches inside under the Windows.Material is light, but strong. The floor seems to be a little thicker.The little awning over the door will hopefully help keep rain out when going in and out.Everything works well. I am very happy with this tent.** Update 7-4-24 I liked the 1st one so much I bought a 2nd one for my Silverado. I got the short bed version since I have a big tool box in the bed. Perfect fit. Both tents are holding up very well.

There is zero ventilation to this tent with all windows and door closed. My significant other woke me up in the middle of the night at which point we both realized we could not breath. This was the first time I actually slept in the tent. There is a reason most tents have vents at the top and an additional rain tarp; this tent does not. Do not buy! This tent may actually kill you.

I am very familiar with "high expectation" bags, garments, textiles, etc. Start with your expectations, and see if it's right for you. I was looking for a light shelter off the ground and out of the sun, something convenient to transport, inexpensive, and easy to set up. Something good to last at least one season of day trips and weekends in the desert parks of the US west. It arrived late, but I took it out to test it anyway.Setup right in the bed is not too difficult (I did not assemble on a flat surface as instructed - after all, I'm trying to stay off the ground). One person can do it, two people is better. I took about an hour to set it up. The pole colors didn't match the instructions, but the instructions were clear enough and I had the right poles. The material is similar to that of a decent umbrella, sturdy enough, but thread the poles *carefully*. This isn't double-stitched, but it is stitched decently. This was a wind-free day, but I think you can trust it up to maybe 15 mph, gusty. Just secure it well. Plenty of tie down straps. It's a sun-break but not a sun shade. If you live in the desert, you understand. It will get hot underneath, even with the windows, which help. Similarly, it won't insulate from very cold, but on a gusty cold day, it's a good shelter. Overnight dew, or light, quick sprinkle yes, rain rain, no. The zippers are good enough and set correctly, but work them gently. Remember that it's not strongly stitched enough to be rough, and it's an umbrella like material. All things considered, it's not everything that I wanted, but it does enough of what I was expecting to justify most of its cost.
