I love higher priced mineral sunscreens but can’t always afford to buy them. This is non white casting and easy to spread and hasn’t irritated my daughter’s or my sensitive skin. It doesn’t get into eyes, but I would still be careful about applying too close to eyes since it lasts and can irritate eyes unless washed off completely. Compared to other mineral sunscreens from major brands, though, eye irritation is minimal. Does leave a pretty sheen on skin.

Works wonders for the little ones. I like that it’s a spray even though I have to rub it in. You can see when you spray it, it’s white in color, not clear, so you know your applying product. There is so much on the bottle. You do have to apply frequently to ensure coverage, but so much easier than the goopy liquid stuff.

If you spending 100's of dollars on top of the line SPF serums etc. that are just an ounce in size forget about that. This is sublime. The stuff is like magic. It makes my mid aged skin glow and stay moisturized AND blocks the pigment causing UV rays. I've had plenty of photofacials to treat dark spots and without mineral protection I find they just come back over and over. This works great for the times I can't have a hat on or areas of my face (or hands!) that are difficult to keep covered. No smell and for me the best part is NO IRRITATION WHATSOEVER to my eyes when even things that say they won't irritate eyes do. This stuff is GREAT!

Work ok the sprayer clogs a bit with it. Mineral spray are hard to find.

I have been buying this sunblock for years. My kids and I have bad eczema and even a lot of "fragrance free", "sensitive", and "all natural" sunblock can irritate our skin and cause rashes. This is the only one I have found that doesn't bother any of us, I even use it on myself. Works great and doesn't have too strong of an "after-spray", where some can leave you feel like you're choking. As long as they keep making it, I will keep buying it.

I am an adult tennis player and have been using this specific Banana Boat for Kids sunscreen for years. It is not runny or oily and does not sting eyes. I recommend it.

I bought this thinking it was a gentle, mineral-based sunscreen for my baby. Big mistake. The label says “mineral enriched,” but that’s completely misleading. This is not a true mineral sunscreen. It still contains chemical UV filters and other harsh additives that should never be used on a baby’s sensitive skin.After applying it just once, my baby had a rash—and I felt awful. When I looked up the ingredients, I was shocked to find known toxic compounds that have been linked to skin irritation, hormone disruption, and even environmental damage (like coral reef harm).Brands like Banana Boat should be held accountable for this kind of deceptive marketing. Parents deserve transparency—this product should NOT be marketed for babies. I threw it in the trash and will never buy from this brand again.Do your research—this isn’t safe. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE.
