large absorbant pad
It's packaged very sterile and though you hope to never have to use it, Jesus willing, it's an important addition to a first aid kit it seems very clean and thick so should work well for a wound. Reminds me whenever i think of wounds how Jesus was pierced and wounded for my sin and He took my wrongs and pride on Himself when He chose to give His perfect life for me! By Jesus' blood I am saved and redeemed and free and forgiven and healed! Praise God for being my Savior and the best bandage ever- Jesus heals my heart! God bless you.

Good Addition for First Aid Kit
Purchased this solely as an add on item to my first aid kit. Unfortunately I've had to use gauze before, and found myself having to use up many of the small packages. While I don't want to ever have to use this, having a larger dressing seems like the kind of item I'd rather have on hand than "wish" I had one if the time ever came when I needed it.From the look and feel of the packaging, it seems to be what it says it is. I don't want to actually open it until I need it, as I want to keep it sterile. Overall, a very inexpensive item that is worth picking up for your kit.

Basically a GIANT Abd pad.
If you work in healthcare you've probably used abd pads for a variety of wound dressings. They are absorbent, soft, and versatile. This is basically identical to your generic abd pad, but just in a larger format. At 10"x30" it is large enough to almost completely cover a torso, or wrap around even a large thigh. If you find yourself using multiple abd pads at once in your wound care, and you wish you had an absolutely giant one, you've found it. At $7.50 per pad it's definitely not cheap, but if it's what you need for optimal wound care, then it may be worth it.

Good quality, cuts well for odd sizes
A loved one was recently in a pretty rough accident and we needed some much bigger dressings. This is even bigger than we needed, but we've been cutting it to fit our odd areas, so it's been working out great. I've just taped down the edges to the skin and it's kept the area padded, dry, and clean. This is really thick and very soft. We also needed some for an area that is pretty constantly draining, and it has done well to keep it more dry without sticking. Very helpful, would recommend for large wounds or odd sizes.

This absorbs very well
I am cutting pieces off of this and I'm using this on my fingers. My fingers are in very bad shape and bleed daily due to severe splits from cold weather. This dressing works very well. It's easy to cut pieces off and just one dressing will last me quite a few days. It is bigger than I expected.I can imagine how this would also be very good to have in your car in case you come upon a bad accident where a lot more than a small bandage is needed.
