They got it almost right
Hey this is pretty good for a book that you can not use to do anything with right? Can't build anything from this book or you go to jail right? Sorry I am going to write my Doctoral Thesis on the Art Of Silencers. I think I can make them about ten times as quite as they are already. I am going to do it with smoke and mirrors. or pianos. I mean if you drop a Pi naner from three stories high and it hits the listener does it make a sound??? What happens if you have a way to bring the sound of the bang about 50000hz higher in Frequency. Some of this is not the yes I know but the more like how do we do it. I think me know how now me wantum chance. They are not going to come arrest medray

If you can weld this is a good book.......
Pretty clear instructions with pictures about making a pretty serious suppressor. You need a welder and know how to use it however. Out of my capacity to do. No welder and no experience. From the pictures, the author isn't much of a welder either so maybe anyone can do the job.Scary part is installing the suppressor without an exit hole, firing an armor piercing round through the thing to locate the exit. Not for me either. But it looks like it's a workable device for large caliber guns so have at it.

Suppresssor review
The book was very informative but I found some of the terminology and name for the parts required to build the suppressor confusing. Like "freezer" plugs... never heard of them! I bought the book as part of my interest in firearms rather than a desire to build one however if I did, some research by the writer into terminology would go a long way to making the review 5*.

Death Warrant!!!
When I purchased this book, I took it at face value. Military Grade Suppressors. The problem with the title is that they didn't expose what military they were referring to. It is definitely NOT the US military. After receiving the book and getting to about page 4, I realized that it was a military belonging to a 10th world country. The methods described in this "manual" will without doubt get someone hurt or worse. The author is suggesting that the reader use FENCE POST!!!!!! We are talking about thousands of pounds per square inch, and we are betting our lives on fence post. Then the Author suggests that we shoot a hole through the "Freeze Out Plugs". What could possibly go wrong here? HEY BUBBA, WATCH THIS! Keep in mind, when you hear this, Somebody's going to the hospital! This may be an alternative if the planet is plunged into a Road Warrior or Terminator scenario. Given we haven't arrived at that point as of yet, I would suggest looking up Alan C Paulson and start there. Please don't try what is printed in this book. Please build the suppressor correctly and legally. If you don't have the equipment to properly build a suppressor, find a friend that is a machinist or buy a manufactured suppressor. The author is entitled to his opinion on how to build a suppressor. My opinion is that this book is just bad news all the way around. There are better ways. NFA Manufacturer is absolutely correct. Please listen to what he has to say. I also agree with Rudolph, there needs to be negative ratings.Keep it safe!!!

Great info
There's some pretty good info in here to build your own suppressor. You need some good skills however, like knowledge on different powder charges for bullets & welding skills to successfully make one, but it is fairly easy to do. This is a great book if you want a suppressor for your gun but remember, you need a threaded barrel...!

Crap!
Not what I was expecting at all. It gives very poor direction and expects you modify your actual firearm parts. Would not recommend this book. No thanks. If I could return it and get my money back I would.
