Beach wheelchair
I love love this wheelchair. This is first time I have been on beach near the ocean in twenty years. It was easy for my husband to put together. My husband said it was easy to push on sand. It didn’t have any problems with dry or wet sand. We even drown along the water edge. This is the best I have bought in years. Highly recommend. Only thing you need is someone to push.

Chair Performance
Great customer service pre and post purchase. Simple but solid assembly. Works great on deep sand NJ Beach!

Poor design
This chair is too expensive to not be able to turn left and right on the beach. It’s useless if I’m not able to use it completely. The chair is basically bulky and hard to maneuver

Viable offroad wheelchair versus much more expensive options
On sand, grass, and most surfaces that are NOT man-made...this thing is awesome. It turns and rolls (with someone in it) with minimal effort. On man-made surfaces, you will NOT be able to turn the wheelchair with someone in it. This is a fantastic product, just understand that you may have to combine this with crutches or a second wheelchair if you have to cross pavement, concrete, wood, or tile. The wheelchair requires someone to push the occupant; this cannot be utilized without someone to push you. The chair is capable of entering the ocean, but becomes unstable in strong surf or beyond ~6 feet from the edge of the water, as the wheels are VERY buoyant. You can help someone into the ocean with this, but keep in mind: when you try to help them back in, they will need to be almost COMPLETELY out of the water or have very strong arms and assistance, as the empty wheelchair will bob around in the surf as they try to get in the chair.I may experiment with weighing the chair down to get it low enough in the water for someone to get back in comfortably...just keep this in mind depending on how mobile you are, and how many people you have to help.

The Mars Rover for Water and Sand!
Talk about EASY! 25 minutes is all it took to get this up and running straight from the box. It would have been even faster if we didn't have to go outside to get the compressor to blow up the tires! We are hoping this is going to be perfect for a younger family member who cannot walk- not only for the sand/pond areas but also for grassy areas in the yard. The tires are so light and ballooning, that it feels like you are on the moon- when pushing- and we are over the moon- to get something this family member can use for outside! Those tires are so awesome- the only thing that would have made this better would have been motorized, and you would not have wanted that with water! The strong netting seat is just perfect- you can actually push the person out into the water this way. A nice net accessory bag that attaches or detaches with velcro on the back to hold towels etc. You can also store the pieces in this bag when dismantling. There is an awesome footrest that folds up when not needed. The whole thing is like a waterproof carriage! Due to the moon wheels, we have nicknamed it the Mars Rover! This chair is dismantled in minutes due to the cotter pins that quickly attach and detach the wheels. The body is such heavy-duty PVC, which also is lightweight and detaches from itself quickly when needed. There are some nifty pins that pull out on each arm area. This is a fast dismantle for sure- NO TOOLS NEEDED for putting it together or taking it apart! The only con is the turning radius, but you have to remember, that you are pushing the person, they are not running the chair themselves. This is for water sand usage mainly and pushing it has been a breeze- just A+ in every way!Oh, and they even include extra cotter pins!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those who need a wheelchair for water, sand, and outside bumpy ground usage.

helps everyone enjoy the beach!
This beach wheelchair helps make the beach more accessible for who need a wheelchair. Pushing a wheelchair in the sand is just not possible but this beach wheelchair is a game changer and makes it easier to push your loved ones in the sand. We have not had a chance to use the beach wheelchair in the sand since getting it but I can tell by the way the wheels are that it would work perfectly for it. This is a well crafted chair that is both easy to assemble and dissemble which makes it great for carrying to the beach. The mesh material makes this easy to clean the sand or dirt off.

Does not sink!
I have recently used this not at a beech, but at dunes and it really works well. The wheels are very large and do not sink down into the fine sand much at all and remains easy to push even with a person in it.
