Perfect AX sharp, perfect weight sharp!

Terrible, unwieldy, bad wood, not very durable, and overall disappointing.

Nice ax thick wood handle

Good axe the only problem is u can smell the paint coating when it hits wood hard enough could be toxic sure smells like it

Be sure to inspect very closely if you buy this axe the one I purchased was bent and out of wack and they say it is hand sharpened. But it definitely was not i had to put grinder to it and reshape and sharpen wouldn't even stick into my splitting log way off balance. SO BE CAREFUL

What's to say it's does as it should

So it says estwing but it's manufactured by groz. And it's not estwing quality. It's Indian junk. Save 20 bucks and buy the same thing at harbor freight.

These guys go out of their way to try to make this sound like it's American made without ever telling you officially where it's made. Just take a look at their website and tell me that they're not trying to make this sound like an American made ax. This piece of garbage is made in India. Super deceptive marketing.
