The blades cannot be flame sterilized
After being heated to red hot once or twice the coating will violently explode off of it and leave a bunch of metal dust in the air, which I don't imagine is good to be breathing in. Other than that I have no problems with this product. Good quality handle and I can vouch for the blades sterility right out of the package. If you're looking to get this for mycology use I'd recommend getting an x-acto instead as the blades can actually withstand flame sterilization.

Not ideal for Dermaplaning…But y’all be the judge.
The media could not be loaded. I’m an esthetician looking to add dermaplaning to my services and was hoping these blades would do the trick. But it’s a No.Watch video till the end. First half is with the #10 blade and 2nd half is with a basic cheap brow blade u can get from any Ross, Tj maxx, Burlington etc. As you will see, the blade isn’t doing a very good job. I went over the same area multiple times before you start to see any hairs being removed. With the cheap blade the hairs come off right away. I see dead skin coming up with the #10 blade, but I was under the impression that hair, peach fuzz, and dead skin should be removed. I wouldn’t recommend for dermaplaning. The blade does appears sharp enough for some type of intricate cutting though.
