Very happy with this, and I like the fact it just has a micro-USB socket so I can connect it when and where I like, and it's light and compact - I really only needed it to top up a single 18650 from an outdoor solar light. The display is simple but very bright and clear, and it takes my Li-ion 18650, Ni-MH AA and AAAs, and even a gumstick battery from an old MD recorder. However, the claimed high charge rate of the DuraPro would probably reduce the life of lower capacity batteries, so I generally use my Youshiko YC4000 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00N7GHUH0) at 200mA for AAs and AAAs unless I'm in a hurry.It can sometimes be slightly fiddly pulling the strongly spring-loaded contacts open to fit batteries in. As I've commented elsewhere, I did once get very weird behaviour when using a particular (possibly too low-powered) USB charger, with phantom charging displayed on an empty slot etc., but changing to a better supply/cable solved that. So make sure you use a decent cable (I think one came with it anyway) and reputable USB charger of sufficient rating.I've also noticed that Ni-MH batteries can sometimes get VERY hot while charging, and unlike some chargers I don't think you can reduce the fairly high charge rate on this model - perhaps the charger occasionally doesn't properly detect that a battery is fully charged. As with any battery charger, except perhaps dedicated ones for camera batteries with internal monitoring, I wouldn't leave this on when I'm not in the house.All in all, a useful charger that I'm happy to recommend, especially if like me you only have a standard AA charger but need to charge one or two 18650s or similar Li-ions.

Versatile charger which takes the standard AA & AAA batteries but also the increasingly common 18650 size. I like the charge status indicator which is very useful. Pricewise it’s excellent. Being able to use the plethora of USB chargers is a definite advantage although the time it takes to recharge batteries is totally dependent on the rating of your USB charger. Nevertheless it’s a good device to have. A small negative point is when removing charged batteries if you’re not careful they’ll ‘ping’ across the room - due to the strength of the spring which to be fair is important to ensure good contact when charging.

This product has had a years usage and no longer works. My previous battery charger which is a different brand lasted for 6 years in comparison and was still operational, I just thought it would be a good idea to get a new one due to the nature of this type of product.If you want a charger that will last you this is not the one.

Works well, screen is bright and easy to use, charges quickly, easy to attach the wire (have found some chargers to be a bit fiddly), easy to store away as compact in size.
