This pair is such a cute addition to a peaceful zen vibe. They have a substantial weight for their petite size and are detailed throughout. The finish is a matte sandstone with a subtle consistency of little patches of glimmer. The glimmer does not stand out, but maybe does more so under brighter lighting and water when in an aquarium… Regardless, these sculptures portray good quality. I originally only wanted the one praying figure and he was available through Amazon for currently only$4.99 ( list price $6.99 ), but the delivery would have been 1 and 1/2 to 2 months ( slow boat from China ), and I did not want to wait.This pair was more expensive for each piece overall, but I wanted it quickly and this set had a 2 to 3 day delivery date.

I thought I was getting two aestically pleasing inexpensive hard plastic Buddhas with sandstone coloring, but was totally blown away that they were actually nicely carved sandstone. Very weighty and perfect for my bonsai tree collection decor! Had a large fish tank at one time and would recommend these weighty little guys for a tank as well.
