These mini blow torches are first rate. Can be awkward to fill but do a really good job and are sturdy.

At first glance it looks plastic and not very robust but it is surprisingly tough enough for handling in the workshop. The instructions are easy and the gas filling is fine as long as you use the long necked type gas canisters (too short and you end up 'wearing the fuel' instead of it filling the reservoir ).The trigger safety 'plastic thingy' is a lost item before you even start (probably why they give you a spare) so in a way quite useless, other blow torches have a built in clip hence my 4* rating.The flame is easily controlled and seems stable once you have let the blow torch 'settle', following instructions after refilling is important, and if you use it straight after filling expect some uneven flame or spluttering.Overall the Blow Torch does what it does well in my opinion (I use it in the kitchen as well as the workshop) and I would recommend it.

I needed a torch that would ignite when i pull the trigger and go off when i release it. Many of this type of torch need the gas to be turned off with a knob to turn off. This is to use to heat up air bubbles and pop them in acrylic paint pouring. Works a treat as operation is one handed, on and off is instant. The other features of locking the flame on and a safety cover for the trigger are great to have for other uses, but will not be needed as i use it. Well worth the money for a well made product.

Initially I thought it looked quite sturdy and well made, button seems to work fine as well. However the one I received does have some sort of leakage problem, I did know it came without the gas so I bought the suggested one to arrive in the same day. I have tried refilling it 3 times already, it works for moments and after it stops. I felt a bit of a gas smell in the air the last time which I tried to fill for longer to see if that was the problem, and I was a bit scared to keep going. I will unfortunately return the item as I believe it’s defective and not suitable for intended use.

At last I found the correct gas filling canister. This Blowtorch is better than similar models. It is well constructed and very safe to use. Amazon were brilliant with their delivery service. Definitely Value for Money Here! Many Thanks.

Flame strength is great, can start any fire a man or women would need. Easy to fill with the canisters you can buy. Easy use.
