Great bag
Holds weight, is comfortable and cheap, and hasn’t fallen apart after much abuse. Storage is good wish it had another small pocket but if fits all my gear so I really can’t complain. Fits me very well and is super easy to adjust if it dosnt

Great for back packing
Loved the back pack. Plenty of room, and love the to top part is adjustable.

Colors do not match product photos
One of the main reasons I purchased this pack was because I really like the color scheme shown in the product photos; the grey and blue with brown straps looked really nice, as you can see that is not accurate as all the straps are grey. However that being said, it is still a very nice pack and not enough reason for me to send it back. It feels very durable and is extremely comfortable. I look forward to using it backpacking Acadia next month!

A great bag for the price
Bought this for my son who is preparing for his first backpacking trip with his scout troop. Scout leaders looked it over and were impressed with quality and features compared to more expensive packs. One downside that was pointed out was the sleeping bag zipper on the bottom is not a separate compartment and is open to the main storage area. This shouldn’t have many practical implications but is different from other packs.

Excellent daypack
I love this backpack. I added elastic paracord to the front to shove jackets and hoodies in. The water bottle holders have excellent bottle retention- I carry two 24oz stainless bottles most of the time.

Critical zipper failure ruins what would be a great pack
Edit: March 2025.On a pass or fail grade, I have to (and hate to) give this a Fail. The zippers—arguably the most critical feature on any pack—are miserably bad. I’ve had two pop on me while on a trip and it ruined the experience. 100% of my focus went towards ensuring I wasn’t hemorrhaging gear. Worst yet, there is no way to get them back on without further damaging the zipper teeth.After only a handful of trips, I have to move on can cut my losses. I’ll reach out to Kelty in hopes a warranty can salvage it.Previously…An excellent, no-nonsense backpack that is NOT a budget buster.I spent a month touring Europe during the 2024 Summer Olympics and took this pack everywhere. Literally everywhere. When packed responsibly, the 65 could pass for a carry on bag and saved us hundreds in checked bag fees.The top and bottom access points make it pretty easy to grab what you need on the fly. Enough points on the exterior to clip on accessories. Great buy!

Very good fit for me.
Use back pack on hiking overnight in mountains.Really like Kelty bags. Only thing I didn't care for was the top and bottom storage compartments Only have a single one directional zipper, would like to have two zippers that meet in middle. Of course it will need to have clip to attach the two zippers together to keep them from separating
