Able to use on 1 1/4 exhaust after minor modification
Needed an exhaust clamp to fit 1 1/4 and with no luck finding one anywhere I decided to purchase this clamp and modify it. Using a dermel shaved the inner rubber to fit 1 1/4 diameter exhaust pipe. Once completed I was able to install my slip on muffler for my Suzuki GZ250. Over 100+ miles test driven and still holding as it did from day one.

Silicone insert melts at normal exhaust temperature
Really liked the item in question, exquisite machining. The concept is marvelous for those that can't weld exhaust. But in practical use, the butt clamp failed. You will have a smelly experience - of burning rubber.

Not very good
The media could not be loaded. They melted after one ride , they don’t hold heat very well . Left a very messy oily residue due to burnt rubber . These aren’t meant for banshees . Not good quality.

This product does not hold the heat very well. Mine started to melt and I used it on a small bore two stroke scooter.
