GREAT BLACK LIGHT. VERY BRIGHT. WE USED 6 OF THEM IN A BIG WAREHOUSE FOR A NEON JUNGLE EVENT AND THEY LIT THE PLACE UP. I PLAN ON BUYING 2 MORE.

Hands down one of the best UV black lights around
The media could not be loaded. I currently have 6 of these lights, we did a huge neon glow party at a high school 1 week ago and it was a total hit!These lights lite up the entire gym and I had almost zero dead spot.Review coming from an experienced DJ

Powerful UV fixture
Used 4 of these fixtures to light an outdoor campsite laser show this summer. Very pleased with the output (162 watts) and overall quality of the fixture. I measured 600 lux at 1 meter and 140 lux at 2 meters from the face of one fixture. There is a quiet fan that runs when the fixtures are powered on. Has louvers on the back so I made aluminum top hats for each fixture in case of rain but please note that these fixtures are not IP rated for rain. They do have 30 degree beam angle so you will want to mount these high up (at least 8 -15 feet) and 10 - 20 feet away from area you want to black light. Highly recommended for the money.

Not true 365nm ultraviolet. Absentee vendor. Ghost Company.
The output appears to be around 400nm to 410nm. Barely sufficient UV for reactive media to fluoresce, (with subdued color) but it does create the illusion of a black light. It is mostly visible purple light, with a small amount of UV. My unit arrived defective, with the outer ring of lights dead. Since I am a tech, repairing the unit proved more convenient than returning it. Overall the unit is well built and is effective at producing purple tainted UV. If it were not defective, and if the company was reachable, and if it were real UV, it would have merited 5 stars.

Strong but not diffused - only affects a small area at once
Lightweight and easy to use, but the beam only illuminates (makes glow) a super small radius. (About 6 feet around if the thing they are pointed at is roughly 20 feet away)They are a really strong black light, but for this high a price I was really hoping for something that would work throughout the whole room rather than pointed only at one area/item

The Black Light that Really Shines!
WOW. This thing really puts out the Black Light! Sure, not a true non-visible black light, but if you're looking to light up a room, club, or event, this thing rocks it! Likely buy more of these!Wanted to provide an update : Took these out to a soccer field for our first open area test. Light does get bright..visibly...so make sure that it is not placed in a line of sight where people would be looking directly into it. Second. The throw is about 50 feet. Which for this type of fixture is really good...covers a lot of space.Heat up time to peak effect...make sure to give this unit a few minutes to kick in to full effect.

Big and Bright! This is the one you're looking for...
I was expecting a small ParCan style light that you'd get from companies that rhyme with Chauvet or ADJ. This DragonX Blacklight was bigger and brighter than I expected. You'd expect to pay 2X the price for a similar product from other companies. I bought 2 of these expecting to have to pick up a couple more for our UV foam party application. Happy to report that just 2 of these on a tripod will be plenty of coverage! A great value, if they stand the test of time and use.
