Quiet practice
I wanted to play my violin w/o disturbing neighbors too much, especially since it has been a long time since I’ve played regularly. There are lots of off notes. This mute dampens the sound quite well.

I have to sons ages 3 and 5 which I'm only able to practice at night this damping the sound and tone without distorting it or altering any of the sound or performance. It is exactly what I needed to practice at night while keeping the volume of the violin at a reasonable volume while practicing. There were many concerns about the securement of this on the violin and falling of. Was very sturdy for me. Just use your brain and a thought process when placing and securing to the bridge and also when you play with the mute. And you will be fine. Good Mute
Just as good as the rubber mute but sounds better. Is hard to see the bowing area because it sits high on the bridge.

La capacidad de silenciar es muy buena, una sordina de calidad, sin embargo al momento de recibirla noté que estaba un poco oxidada y se veía que había sido manipulada por otras manes y fue limpiada correctamente

It didnt fit the violin.
Didn't fit the violin. If we can get it to stay on the violin, it doesnt make much of a difference. Lots other options to choose. P
