Works well with Remington 700, a bit too big for a Glenfield model 60
I received this item in the late afternoon and was using it 30 minutes later. The Rock went together very easy with no issues. It made a good cradle for the 700 but a bit too small for the Glenfield. The Rock came with a rear bag which was okay for the 700, but was not high enough for the 60. So, I placed an old shot bag under it to raise the stock up. This was an easy fix and I will just deal with it. (Hard to make something to fit all)I purchased this for the 60, simple to use, fast adjustments, and very smooth (a little gun oil goes a long ways!) I had read a post about the main screw cam getting stuck, burrs or something. Not the issue here, very well machined. Overall, the material, bags, are well made, look nice and very stable. There's nothing wrong with where this item was made, China, but then again, a great person once said, "it's a nice tie and it looks great"Ty

Basic
Typical Caldwell quality. It is a very basic rifle rest and works just fine. Caldwell is known for their durability and simplicity. I would recommend.

Good price
The product is just as described. Unfortunately, the delivery person couldn't walk 10 steps to the door and put the box on the front yard's grass to be drenched by the sprinklers.

Great product
Awesome purchase for the price. I usually use a hoodie or t shirt as my “butt pad” shoot off the back of my car truck.

Works great! A very good deal for the money.
This rest works great! Was very easy to put together. Pretty smooth to adjust, but I think I will add a little grease or lube to the main ram for slightly smoother turning. It catches a little when going down if there is no weight on the cradle, but you just have to push it down and it works. If you have a rifle on the cradle, the weight of that makes it work perfectly. The elevation wheel is nice and big, and easy to turn and make very slight adjustments. I am using it with an AR-15, and the rear bag I think is gonna be a little low. No problem though to stick something underneath it to bring it up some. When assembled, and tightened down (including the J-hook), this rest is very stable. Cant wait to take it to the range and get some shooting in with it. If it performs as well as I think it will, I will be very happy with it. I was debating between this and the Rock BR, and I really think that this one will do everything I want or need. So far so good!

Excellent shooting rest
This is a great product. I've used several different shooting rests while sighting in my various rifles over the years, but this one is the best. It's small and compact, so it's fairly easy to carry out to the range, but it is - literally - rock solid. With this rest under the foregrip and a sandbag or similar padding under the butt stock of the rifle, you can dial down on the target with extreme precision. I set up to align the vertical crosshair of the scope with the centerline of the target, and then when I'm comfortable and everything is stable & how I want it, I just slowly dial down the large elevation adjustment knob on the rest to bring the horizontal crosshair onto the bullseye. Much less cumbersome/awkward than the larger "sled" type shooting rests, gives you a very high degree of confidence that you are "on target" when the trigger breaks, so your scope adjustments go quickly. High quality materials, great results on the range. Highly recommend.

Works great
Works great. It was a little confusing to put together but after that I’ve been loving it.
