Vicente Oak Wood Folding Mancala Board Game, 18 Inch Set

We are a game-loving family. Every age group of our family enjoys playing Mancala. So we had to get one for our new game room. And this Mancala Game Board is our all-time favorite, hands down because of the generous size of the game pockets and Mancala wells on each end of the board. It may cost a little more that some others, but the additional cost pales, considering the benefits of the larger pocket and Mancala sizes, ease of folding it up and storing it away when not in use. Granted, it is not made of the very finest quality wood, but the features we mention are preferable to our family. It's the best we've played, in our humble opinions!

Our family plays this game daily. It’s a lot of fun. We did have to find a better set of instructions online but that was easy since it’s a well known game.This board is well made. It is solid wood with rounded square holes for the “seeds”. The glass “seeds” are a great size and you have plenty of room to store as many as you need to store to use strategies to win. I also love that it has a clasp to keep the game closed. No need to have a bag for the pieces they all stay inside.Nothing but good to say. We ended up loving this game so much we wanted a second one (we have a large family). We went to the local department store to get another one so we could have it THAT day, and we ended up only playing it one time because the quality was so poor. We had higher expectations because of this product we bought on amazon. It was taken back to the store!!Needless to say I’ll be purchasing another game board here and we will enjoy having family Mancala tournaments lol!

My 8 and 5 year old boys picked up on this game very quickly, and it's a good solution for a quick "boredom buster." The board is great quality, nice and smooth and the wells fit a good amount of beads. The beads are glass and also nice quality.

Good quality materials. Easy to learn and play, portable. A soft pouch cover for storage and travel would give this the 5th star.

This was a great purchase for our family.The board is good quality - the wood is smooth, no splinters like I’ve seen complaints of in reviews for other products. The holes are plenty big for as many beads as we have ever gotten in them, and we’ve gotten them quite full.The latch holds tightly when we close up the game, and it stores neatly on a shelf.The beads are glass, and are small - my youngest can scoop a pretty big handful up at once. To store them, just put some into the holes and close the board.I read several reviews before purchasing this particular game, and I am very happy with my decision.

The wells really ARE BIGGER!!!I did pretty extensive searching before choosing this set. It was a bit more expensive than some of the others, but it definitely DELIVERED on the bigger wells, and overall quality of the set. I brought it with me on a recent vacation, and we played it every day!Just love it! It was only slightly higher cost than the other ones, but one of them I bought didn't even lay flat when I folded it open!

My husband and I bought this game to play together as I have very fond memories of playing this in elementary school. Turns out, it's easy enough for both my 7yo and 4yo to play! It's now a family favorite, brought out nearly nightly as a before bed treat. The board seems sturdy enough and well built enough to survive even the roughest of handling by my children, but good looking enough to bring out when family and friends visit. Best game purchase this last pandemic year!

My son and I have learned to play this game quickly and it is teaching his mind to work faster on strategies. It's great! The way this one is made, everything is contained inside and it comes with 2 extra pebbles. It's perfect for our game drawer, easy to get out and put away!
