JHS Pedals JHS Sweet Tea V3 Overdrive & Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal

The JHS Sweet Tea gives me all the drive sounds I need aside from fuzz. There's basically a Tube Screamer on one side and a JCM 800 on the other. I use the TS side for slightly crunchy, almost clean tones and the JCM for heavier overdrive sounds and both of them together for a little more saturation. Throw a fuzz in if you wanna get crazy. Pedal is versatile and by mixing and matching you can get all sorts of dirt sounds. Build quality is great as well

I use it for gritty rhythm and full-blown distortion. Great sounding pedal.

I’ve used a number of low, mid and high gain pedals over the years. I own a JHS morning glory, TS9 tube screamer, TC Dark matter and a Mesa throttlebox eq. The sweet tea trumps them all. I’m shocked at much I like the moonshine, I use it a tonne! I run my morning glory in front of the sweet tea and I’m able to get every “drive” tone I could imagine. I lead worship in church and also play in a heavy rock band and live, the angry Charlie circuit through my dual rectifier puts out ridiculous tone, I get a modern/classic vibe out of the heavy side and all tones from “edge of break up” to med. gain, super fast and easy to dial in as well! In seconds I have the sound I’m looking for! I can’t ever see this leaving my board. It rocks with single coils or hum-buckers. superb sound, stop comparing pedals, this is the one.

Better than expected. It got here fast, I plugged it in, and I’ve been jamming ever since!
