Maximum Value & Effectiveness
Does exactly what was it was intended. I needed to be heard better on discord with my low-sensitivity mic, this boosts the output so I don't have to max the gain on my aging 2i2 interface.Plenty of signal, plenty of headroom left, low noise floor and it's transparent as best I can tell, and it's construction is largely metal. For something that is at less than 1/3 the price of the cloudlifter and half the price of the fethead, I have SubZero complaints.

Phenominal
Cannot fault it. It is a lot cheaper than other competitors and works flawlessly. This is a must for anyone needing a boost.

Does what a Cloudlifter does... just far cheaper
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I saw some people commenting on it negatively... ignore that. I've used this now for a month and its been absolutely perfect for an SM7B, does exactly what it is supposed to do and does not do anything other than add gain to the signal - precisely what it is supposed to do. Don't waste money on a Cloudlifter.

Good value bit of kit.
Brought a dynamic mic, found out I needed a preamp for my Scarlett interface, for the price of other preamps I looked at, this is a no brainer, works well for me, no detectable noise, silent and works perfectly on my system.Set up, Shure SM57, MB1 into Scarlett 2i2, it needs phantom supply, which the Scarlett has.

Good build quality but…
Sturdy, all metal construction. Easy to use. Unfortunately mine had a load background buzz that made it into the recording and I could not get rid of no matter what I tried, so I had to return it. Shame as I think it would have lasted ages given its solid construction.

It’s fine
Was looking at a cloud lifter but wincing at the price.Found this much cheaper alternative and gave it a go.Plug in turn on phantom power and you are good to go.I am just using it for a chat mic so can’t get technical but have had very good reports from everyone I have spoken to. Much louder than just my condenser mic and reported crisp and clear sound. My gain is down over 20db with a louder output achieved.I’m using a sure sm7x looking at the gain difference in sure this would be ok for people rocking the sm7b
