The bible is beautiful and the hard cover is vibrant in color and the fabric feels nice to the touch.Its thick but petite and easy to carry and hold.Pages are not thin as to see much bleed through from the type on the other side of the page; but not thick enough to use regular highlighters, felt or gel pens; maybe the ones that are no-bleed? But i havnt tried them.Love the larger print and font is easy to read.Love that it is a single column AND each verse starts at the margin, its easier on the eyes.Love that the words of Jesus are in red.I got it for about twenty-six monies and this is a great deal!!Great for gift giving. Is packaged with only a thin cardboard paper sleeve not a box nor wrapped. Glad it arrived in great condition.

I'm very happy with this purchase. My thoughts so far:-The Bible is beautifully made. Cover is durable and looks nice.- The note taking area is lightly lined and gives ample room for jotting down notes.- The pages are slightly yellow/cream. It does not bother me but is worth mentioning. Yellow highlighter is harder to see in low light.- The pages aren't as thin as some other Bibles I've owned, but they aren't incredibly thick either. I use a standard medium point Papermate Inkjoy ballpoint pen (my favorite pen). It doesn't bleed through but you can see shadowing. You can also see shadowing of the printed text as well though, so I believe this would occur with any pen. I may try a fine point pen in the future as I think the shadow would be minimized. (See attached photo) However, even though a slight annoyance, the shadowing has not affected the ability to read notes on the other side.- I would highly recommend the Bible Hi-Glider gel highlighters to use with this Bible. They truly don't bleed through.- I enjoy that this Bible is simplistic- not a lot of fluff (references, study guides, etc), single column, and split into paragraphs with headings. The print is a good size for comfortable reading. It's about the size of a standard book though- not typical large print if that's something you need.- It is a bit larger and heavier than some Bibles. Not something Id want to carry around often if that was a need of mine, but a perfectly acceptable size for reading at home or carrying once in a while to a study.Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase. As an avid note taker, I'm so happy to have a Bible that allows space for adequate, neat, and organized notes that is both beautiful and durable.

Definitely a must buy. You can add your notes right in the column. Plus pages are not cheap, not see through. The font is also good, not eye straining. I love my new Bible and you will too

Love the print and the ability to write notes in the Bible. Most bibles with notes area have such small print that I can not read the Bible portion. This has a nice font size and is easy to following - with a good portion of the page for taking notes.

AMAZING!! Love it sooo much! Using it whenever I get the chance, it’s pretty big but that just means there’s more room to take notes.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. It’s really nice. I like the stitching and the almost unnoticeable embossed detail. The pages aren’t super thick, nor are they super thin. I think with the right pen note taking will work just fine. It says large print, but I don’t think it’s “large”. I would have liked for it to be larger, but it’s already thick & heavy. I ordered the tabs separately and I love how they match & make finding the right book a breeze.

Bible is beautiful. Print is dark and definitely easy to read...But....pages are so crazy thin you can see the print coming thru from the opposite side of pages. So disappointed since many reviews stated the opposite. Super thin pages..wrinkle easily. May return because this was for journaling and pages seem to thin for that.

It’s a very short Bible but thick. It’s a cloth covered board with florals all over it and it is absolutely gorgeous. The font is not too small. It’s true comfort print. I prefer a little larger print and darker, but this one is just fine, I have so many Bibles. Most of them are study Bibles. I am going to use this one just to read.
