Best buy for fried food lovers who does not want mess
This is perfect for family of 4-8 as it can deep fry 2kg chicken whole, wings, drumstick in just 5min and fresh potato fries in 3min without mess. Frying smell is alot less than frying in pan. Easy to clean & wash.We had guest of 10 when we 1st use it & it made frying a lot more easier. I'll recommend this.

Leaks oil to heating element
I have owned this fryer for 6 months and clean it regularly, the oil container forms grim grease easily and doesn’t go away in dishwasher. For the past two months I have been smelling burned oil when I turn it on so I decided to take it apart for a proper clean and discovered burned oil under the heating element! It smells terrible and is not safe or healthy to breath in at all and could short circuit at any moment which makes it a dangerous fire hazard. I didn’t bother putting it back together and threw it out right away

Our Third One
This is the third Moulinex deep fryer we bought. The first two (same tech but slightly different looks) started to leak oil after a while when hot. Apparently the weld of the heating element to the oil reservoir is not fail safe after a while. Yet it worked well, oil did not deteriorate quickly as the element is not in the oil but beneath. And we liked the lift mechanism of the fryer basket.Our new one produced golden brown fries. Good. We miss though an indicator light to check if the oil has reached the desired temperaure. This time the fryer basket did not have the lift mechanism, although the user manual shows it. Strange. And there are no handles to lift the whole fryer. It can easily fall out of your hands when wet of greasy. Careful. Would I buy it again? Depends whether/not it starts leaking again. As they are fairly cheaply cheap I may just buy a new one.
