I got this product because I had a sudden an abnormal flea infestation. I say abnormal because I have lived in my house for over 13 years and never had any kind of flea infestation and I have had multiple cats (up to 8 at one time, I used to foster) living inside my home for the entire 13 years up until this year and I currently only have 2 indoor at the moment. I started noticing the cats itching constantly and then they started acting like the floor was made of hot lava and did everything they could to avoid touching the floor. They were even hesitant to eat and drink because that meant they had to be on the floor. I don't seem to get bitten by fleas (thank God!) but I did start noticing them jumping on me and after taking a close look at my cats, saw that the poor things were covered in fleas. I always thought having wood floors would eliminate a flea infestation, but not this year, first time ever. So I treated the cats with some topical flea meds and bought this stuff. I sprayed all the cat furniture, all the people furniture and all around the floors especially the baseboards and around the windows and within 3-4 days, I had no more fleas. I was so relieved because I heard horror stories about how long it takes to get rid of fleas once an infestation happens but this stuff worked beyond expectation and felt good using it around the catsbecause it was all natural. The only problem I had was that every time I used it, it would leak all over my hands. Maybe it got damaged slightly during shipping or I got a bad bottle so I knocked one star for that, other than that I highly, highly recommend this product and will buy again if I have any more flea problems.

I like the product because it not only works but it's supposed to be all natural and I really didn't want to put another chemical on my cat. She already gets topical drops for fleas, but of course those don't really repel, they only kill after they land, leaving my poor cat vulnerable to flea bites and she seems to be a little allergic to them since I have to apply hydrocortisone to help them heal faster. It has a strong smell but a surprisingly, although she does not like to be sprayed with anything, she doesn't seem to object to the odor as much as I do. It's not a bad smell, it's just strong. Buy it, you won't be disappointed and also knowing that you're not applying dangerous chemicals to your furry baby.

This worked well in the dogs bedding between washings. I also used it on the carpets in and around their bedding. Along with oral treatment and topical solutions, this as a part of a trifecta of treatments wiped out some fleas which decided to take up temporary residence with us.DrB

I sprayed both my dogs completely on top of a Frontline and they still have fleas! I’ve never seen them so bad is this year.

We bought this more of deterrence and not to actually get rid of an infestation.The smell stays on your dog until their next bath, which is a very clean woodsy smell. As for the effectiveness? I am not sure of how it works on a dog with fleas. However, since their last flea treatment and spraying around the house, we haven’t noticed any new agitations from those pesky fleas and we also noticed that the mosquitoes were too bad this year either. So, I am in the belief that this product repels other pests that may be lurking to bug you.Will be purchasing this product again, when we run out of this one.

I found that this product does not have any residual effectiveness. Let me explain. I picked two fleas off of my dog and put them in a ziplock sandwich bag. They were quite active in the bag. I sprayed a 3” x 3” piece of paper towel to the point of saturation with this product and let it air dry over night. The next morning I placed the paper towel piece into the bag. Hours later, the fleas are still very active, showing no signs of detrimental affects.
