They have always been the best with infinite adjustment and stainless clip.There is a reason they cost more and found in every commercial airliner.

The Ty-Raps of my youth
The same Ty-Raps of my youth. Back in the '70 if you used a nylon tie is was a Ty-Rap brand with the metal tooth. When you are using them for all sort of random applications, these are not as limiting on position or tightness. They are not made of crispy, degraded resin like off-brand ties or private-labeled the ties from big, trendy companies. You won't have to go though 5 to get one to hold, like another US made brand I know. There are other good brands, like Panduit, but Ty-Rap are my go-to for home/hobby use. All that said, they are a bit costly and I wouldn't use them in mass where an all-plastic Ty-Rap or Panduit tie would do.

super short and thin - risk of cutting into the bundled wires
I was thinking these would have typical zip tie dimensions. Instead they are super thin. Also, the milspec code is not on the package - or I could not find it. Would not buy again.

It paid to go with T&B as opposed to an import. Very strong, worked perfect.

These are very well made. Remember they are short.
