I have a few (okay, a lot) of Shih Tzu dogs and they all love this toy so much--it has become their favorite! I found these little chicken themed toys at a discount store that crickle and squeak but and they love those too, but they tear to bits in a couple days. This duck toy is similar--no stuffing, crinkly sounds, squeaker--and it holds up to my dogs playing with it daily. I have run these toys through the washer and dryer numerous times and they are holding strong. We have bought a bunch of these after seeing how much our dogs like them. that way all the dogs can play their own if they want. I can't remember having to throw one away because it's been ripped open--and I have a couple dogs that will go after the squeaker very aggressively. These are larger but my little 8-10lb dogs can carry them around with ease. Because they are not full of stuffing, they can get their small mouths around the toy and more than one can play tug-of-war with them. I will definitely be getting more of the cute toy and I see they have others I will have to look into as well.

These toys lasted a lot longer than they thought they would. Initially, they were really soft and I thought my dog would tear them up in no time but they’ve actually lasted a couple months. Pretty durable and my dog loves them,cute toy.

Our 6-month old kittens can't have regular cat toys because they chew through and eat the strings/whiskers/tails; even the mylar balls get shredded and ingested. Our dog passed away recently so I gave them some of her old toys and found that they really like this small squirrel. I ordered another one for the kittens. They don't try to eat the squeakers like a dog would do. They can't even use the squeakers, though they do get excited if I squeeze them. Instead, they tear at the tail and head, trying to pull out the stitches and the faux fur. I would be worried if this toy had stuffing, but it doesn't. The faux fur is short so it's harder for them to yank out, and since it's a dog toy it's pretty well made and more resistant to tiny needle-sharp cat claws and teeth. Both kitties will run around with this squirrel hanging out of their mouths, even though it's pretty big for them. It looks very realistic, like a dead animal. It gets drowned in their water bowl from time to time. They love chasing it, murdering it, and trying to disembowel it. I love that no matter how hard they try, they can't eat it. I will be ordering more.

PROS: My dog loves this thing. Do much that within 3 minutes of it gets destroyed it.CONS: he destroyed in 3 min. Literally ripped apart.He usually chews on bones but I purchased this toy for our cavapoo puppy. Well John John my big boy found this and seemed so happy so I let him play with it boy was that a mistake. It is very cute tho and the crinkle and squeaky is great. If your dog is big and a chewer it won't last long !!

I like that this dog toy does NOT have stuffing in the body because it looks like it snowed on my floor when my dog is done with most of her stuffed toys. It actually sounds more like noisy bags in there. It does have a noise maker as well. My dog is enjoying this toy addition to her arsenal of dog victims. Very light weight, sturdy and easy to throw in the wash when dirty.

My pup loves this right out of the box. Toy isn’t filled with stuffing- it gives a lifeless quality to it. Squeaker is sewn in place and it’s well made.Update: my pup had chewed through the toy and had the squeaker out within 10 mins which is a bit of a disappointment. Toy is entertaining but not as tough as it claims to be.
