Comfortable typing
For those of us who are left handed and live in a right handed world, this is a wonderful product. One of my jobs was entering our daily deposits into the database so the payments could be posted to the proper customer's account. At that time, there was no such thing as a left handed typewriter. I had to move the keyboard to the left so I could use the number keypad. I entered the information correctly; but if I had to enter something that wasn't a number I had to move the keyboard to original position and then move it back to the left. Believe me, if that keyboard wasn't in the exact proper position, I had to adjust until it was just the right distance to the left. What a pain. The advent of left handed keyboards is wonderful. For those of us who learned to type in a typing class, I would recommend this product to them.

Best ergonomic keyboard for preventing RSI and carpal tunnel.
I love this keyboard. It is the only one I can type on in comfort and not make any spelling mistakes. I've been using one for 10 years, and had to buy a new one because I upgraded to Windows 7. Unfortunately on Windows 7 the volume and mute hotkeys, which I really got used to using, don't respond. The software does nothing to help fix this problem. I'll have to test it in the future when I upgrade to Win 10.Otherwise, it is a fantastic keyboard for small people or children. It eliminates the number pad on the right side, which shortens the distance from keyboard to mouse, thus preventing RSI (repetitive strain injury) of the shoulder.

Lefties thank you🙋
Now that I'm older, l should have gotten a brighter color than black!, but once you get flying, you don't look at the keyboard much anyway.

Good blend of ergo and balance...
I had never seen a keyboard like this previously and I've been an advocate for ergonomics for decades! I bought this one as a "'Refurbished" item from Amazon for a discount. Yes, the box was battered when it arrived, including the shipping box, but based on the cover-wrap of the keyboard, it appeared unused.I love that the keys have "bounce back" and let you know that you've actually executed the movement. I also love the 10-key on the left-hand side that allows for me to 10-key on my left whilst mousing on the right, providing a balance between both arms. There isn't a huge split in the keyboard which saves on size on the keyboard tray (gotta have that ergo mouse!) and it doesn't have the built in wrist-rest, which for me, was a huge drawback on the Microsoft Natural keyboard.I paired this keyboard with a SANWA Wired Vertical Ergonomic Mouse that I also purchased from Amazon. I like that it has a more neutral wrist position, lessening the pressure on the ligaments that, when inflamed, become carpel tunnel syndrome. It doesn't fit well on the Kensington (under the desk) keyboard tray I also purchased, but it works well, even without a mouse pad (missing from keyboard kit).I wish I had found this keyboard years ago... Yes, it's noisy when you're typing, so if you are a "work at home" and don't want to disturb others, then this may not be the keyboard for you. However, my daughter and I are usually wearing headphones whilst were on our computers, so this is not an issue. Overall, I love it and recommend it to others.

Injury
I currently cannot use my right arm. So I got a lefty mouse and a lefty keyboard they have made this transition easier to work. This keyboard has made working so much easier. There have been some learning curses with it but well worth it.

A keyboard for right-handed people
After 25 years of programming work on my laptop, I decided to augment it with a workstation approach at home: large external display, good keyboard and mouse. I tried a multitude of 101 keyboards, but could not adjust to having my mouse so far from the keyboard. As a programmer and writer, I never use numeric keypads. This keyboard was the solution. The quality and workmanship are excellent. Although not mechanical, the springs offer plenty of resistance, and the product feels like a mechanical keyboard, without the attendant noise. Most of all, your hand no longer has to traverse the space occupied by the numeric pad. It is fantastic for writing and programming, and more programmers should use this keyboard.I suggest a small improvement for the manufacturers: In my line of work, nobody needs keys like PageUP, PageDown, Home, and End. I mean nobody. The keyboard size could be further reduced by eliminating these, moving Delete next to the backspace, and putting these and the arrow keys in a single row. The left keypad has these keys already. This would save 2-4cm from the width, making the keyboard even more useful. I would buy that version now, despite the fact that my current one is fine.[edited for typos]

10 key is not efficient
I was born right handed but due to injury am a lefty now. The "0" and ". Del" on the ten-key should be swapped. This product is not efficient for fast typing. Outside of that issue, the keyboard is wonderful!

Helpful for a power user
I sit at the computer 8 hours a day for my job, and having the numpad on the left hand side is SO much more efficient for me! I can keep my right hand on the mouse while typing numbers or using shortcuts with my left hand. The "A" style keyboard shape takes a little getting used to but it feels better once you do.The placement of some of the keys is a little odd to me, such as where they put the Esc and Del keys. I also find the juxtaposition of the 0 and ./Del keys on the numpad to be cumbersome; it's not a direct "mirror image" of a right-handed numpad. Not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind--either deal with where the keys are or remap them yourself with a script.
