very pretty and a good price
I had been looking for a wall sconce that was classy and elegant looking. I had been looking for a while and found some others that were twice the price, but were just a little too plain for me. I really like the scalloped, frosted glass and the ornate detail in the decorative metal.These are great because they come with three different colors of metal accents: white, brownish and oil rubbed bronze. For my application, to match my other fixtures, I spray painted the metal pieces in a oil rubbed bronze and then highlighted with gold. It looks pretty close to the original, but now matches my other decor exactly.The pics of the oil rubbed bronze and straight out of the package are the first pics and the installed fixture is with the spray painted/highlighted metal pieces.Takes a single regular base bulb up to 100w so they are plenty bright. Simple to install. Overall, I am very pleased with this light fixture.

Better than my original
I really like the look of this fixture. It is better than my original one and looks great.

Good at the price
Rating 4 only because of the price. It's very cheap but pretty flimsy. Still the shade is real glass, not plastic, and it matched my ceiling fixtures reasonably well. Serves mostly a decorative purpose for me, and had choice of hardware finishes. That said, the mounting is unstable. Secured by only one post and will rotate. Possible to have it bumped and cause shade to fall and break. I solved that by drilling an extra hole in the upper right corner of the wall plate and screwing it to the wall. Now it's stable.

Perfect!
I’m not a fan of these light covers but I had to get an exact replacement and Amazon had it! Lowes and Home Depot discontinued them. Standard size and easy to swap out. I was able to use part of the existing fixture I had.

Somewhat nice but shows electrical
After all the great reviews on this sconce, I was really looking forward to getting the two that I ordered. Unfortunately, I didn't like how the frosted glass still allows the electrical stuff to show through. Even during the day when it is not on, you can see the socket mounting. Because of that, it doesn't really look like good quality. Well, it's not like I spent a lot of money them. Now my husband doesn't want to take them down so I can return them. Ugh. On a positive note, I do like that they give you various finishes for the metal fixture at the bottom. That's a nice touch. If the frosted glass was just a bit more opaque, I'd give it more stars.
