Cat Mate Cat Flap 4-Way Closure with Tunnel W: 19.2 cm H: 20 cm Brown

I wasn't sure what I'd be getting for my fifteen quid, but was pleased to find it was well made and easy to install. I like he fact that moggy can see out to check the coast is clear and the locking mechanism works well both ways. I've not noticed any drafts coming through and the fit of the door is good. One tip I would offer is to seal the outer edges with a thin amount of silicon sealant, which serves to ensure a flush fit and stop any ants from finding their way through - a problem I had with the last cat flap. I guess the only issue would be if you have to trim the plastic down for thinner doors, but that looks reasonably straight forward, given there's some indented guides for cutting. Mine thankfully fitted my back door perfectly. This is a very decent cat flap for the money and as stated, was dead easy to install.

Just spent half a day sorting this out. It's bad enough cutting a hole in a perfectly good door but in my case, the door is oak tongue and groove and the panels only about 3/4 of an inch thick.How this catflap is designed is that the outside and inside screws to attach it to the door are in exactly the same place! So, screw in one side, push the screw out the other side! I had to cut a piece of hardwood to make a frame on the inside so I could attach this..... jigsaws, planes, sanders, counter-sinking holes, etc.There's a solution..... don't put the screw-holes opposite each other! Not all doors are 2" thick!

Nice one, I have to big cats and they squeeze in no problem. Its easy to fit in, as the flap side is completely separate and independent of the tunnel side [pluse the trap door is much smaller than tunnel, so theres no issues with small misalignements issues, if you'll have any]. Magnet is strong - wind wont open it. Doors shut bit too loud, but overall its a 5/5 quality product that will last and looks very neat [and Im very picky!].

Great value for money & seems very durable. It has a strong magnet on the door, so it did take a while for my cat to realise she could push through it from both directions. I had a professional install the cat flap in my front porch door as my tools are a little ropey. Pleased I did as it still took him about 90mins to get it just right.The door closes nicely behind my cat & the magnet holds it firmly in place. I haven't bothered with the different door locking settings but they do all work.

I have the Houdini of house cats! The flap leads into a safe garden. I had hoped that this dual locking flap would prevent him getting out at night. The quality is good but Reddington managed to remove the plastic clips and get out. Every other cat this flap works for and unless your cat is Houdini I highly recommend it.
