We thought these large brass candlesticks were ruined. We took them outside sprayed and rinsed them two or three times. In the close up picture the left piece is before spraying and the right piece is still wet from having been sprayed. Already a huge difference. The picture with all the pieces are after we used the Flitz Polish & Cleaner for metal & plastic. This took little time or effort to rub off the rest of the tarnish and oxidation and buff to a glossy shine. Amazing product! I highly recommend these two products.

It works almost instantly. No mess and great results. It's a no Brainerd. Value for money.

Después de la aplicación del producto sobre el latón, se espera de 2 a 5 minutos y se pasa por un chorro de agua, yo lo hice dejando a bajo un recipiente y después sumergí nuevamente el latón agitando el recipiente. El latón sale como teñido de rojo como si el producto no hubiera hecho su trabajo.Finalmente lo talle enérgicamente con un trapo de micro fibra y el latón recupero su brillo original con algunas pequeñas imperfecciones. Muestro en las fotos el estado original y después de haber pulido con el trapo el acabado brillante muy satisfactorio

I work with copper & brass all the time in my craftsmanship. I also make copper & brass jewelry besides my other creations.As everyone knows bare copper & brass easily tarnish. If it's exposed to the elements, heat, or cold, it tarnishes quickly.I've been using Flitz for a couple of yrs now & am quite pleased with it.The Brass & Copper Cleaner is INSTANT on removing tarnish before re-polishing.Although, it must be thoroughly rinsed off, at least that's been my experience.You can NOT rinse it with just tap water either, otherwise it'll tarnish right back up within hrs. It's probably caused by the chlorine in city tap water, & different existing minerals in well water.I do 2 rinses, each time I use the Flitz Brass & Copper Cleaner. First thorough rinse is with tap water. Then immediately drop it in a container with FILTERED drinking water, & thoroughly rinse it a 2nd time. Then towel dry the items.When I spray my items with the cleaner, I place them inside a glass container before spraying. This does INSTANTLY remove the tarnish, & contains any over spray. My glass container has a tight fitting lid, & I keep my over spray in this container, which puddles in the bottom & saves on wasting the cleaner. I will use it again for cleaning other small items, by placing them in the glass container & swishing it around. Yes, this will also remove tarnish INSTANTLY. Then I remove the items with a hook, so I'm not placing my fingers in the cleaner. Then follow through with my double rinsing procedure as always.Does this cleaner stink? YES, definitely, but I've found & used one other brand of "INSTANT" tarnish remover. It works just as well, & also Stinks! It's also a smaller container & even more pricey if you figure out ounces per price point. The other cleaner also smells like hair perming solution. I always use ventilation when cleaning, because it will trigger my asthma.Flitz claims to be made with natural organic products, but still stinks & bothers my asthma.So bottom line? GREAT PRODUCT! Saves a lot of time cleaning, just use ventilation & a thorough rinsing & drying of your items.Bought my first bottle of FLITZ Brass & Copper Cleaner to try it & see how well it worked. It's a bit spendy, but my first bottle lasted me about 2yrs. Love it, so I'm back for a 2nd round & bought 2 bottles this time. Wish it was available in a REFILL form, so I could just refill my original spray bottle, instead of adding more garbage to the landfills.Yes, I would definitely recommend to others!
