The same thing happened to me. You have to contact Amazon customer service. I was refunded the amount.

Q: How do i know expiry date before i purchase?

To be honest with you, I don’t think there is an expiration date printed on the box. I’ve never ever had an issue with “expired” deodorant.

Q: Can someone describe the smell? Does it smell too strong or more soft like pounder?.

I say, it has a soap-like smell and not at all like that baby-powder smell. My husband says it smells akin to a “fresh scent” dryer sheet. Heh..
