Great Refresh to an already amazing controller!
I bought this controller mainly for gaming on my laptop/PC.Pros:1) Classic Xbox style controller with slight upgrades from the previous version, which sits comfortably in your hands.2) New Grip texture, helps with sweaty hands. Keep in mind though, the grips are still plastic, but high quality so you will definitely notice them.3) Ever so slight change in the design from the previous version, not so drastic that it wont feel like you're holding an Xbox controller but its been squared off at some places to give it a refresh.4) D-Pad has been updated too, much like the one on the Xbox elite controller.5) Buttons and triggers have a crisp and tactile feeling. No loose bits and pieces rattling like on some cheaper lower end controllers.6) Connectivity is a breeze, thanks to Microsoft. Just that connecting to a different PC and then connecting back to your PC is little cumbersome. Not much. Just a tad.7) Battery back-up is good. It needs 2xAA batteries. I'm a very versatile user, sometimes I barely play, other times I'm in front of the screen all day, so don't really have an estimate in hours. But its plentiful and wont be a bother. You can still connect it with a wire so that's good. Personally I prefer swappable batteries as you don't need to wait for it to charge or risk putting it to charge before your gaming sesh. Furthermore, fixed Lithium ion batteries tend to lose their ability to hold charge overtime with each cycle. So that's why I prefer removable batteries.8)Windows Capture works great, just press the dedicated multifunction button to click a screenshot or press and hold to record a clip.Cons:1) The white color tends to stain up, but it is pretty easy to clean. Also, I knew this would happen but I was willing to live with it, because I just love this white color. Go for any other color, if that's what you want. Note: the controller does not lose color or fade overtime, like so many others.2) It would be good if they added backlighting to the buttons. 1.5k controllers have it, i dont know why Xbox still doesn't. Nothing you cant get used to.3) Sometimes the controller disconnects itself. Note, that it has not happened once while I was in the middle of playing. Only when trying to connect one or more controllers (Official Xbox). Maybe a bug on Microsoft's part.4) No indicator on the controller itself to show the battery percentage. You need to check it on your PC, where it shoes the approximate battery percentage left, its not that accurate though. One time, it showed the battery at 50% but shut down after 10 minutes.5) The controller seems to not fully utilize the batteries. Like, the Controller wont start, you think maybe you need to swap out the batteries, but when you hold the batteries you can still feel that they have a charge due to their weight. I checked it out and almost 30% charge was left. My advice, Swap out one battery a time.Review:Overall this is a great controller with everything an average (Or even above average) gamer could need. The pros far outweigh the cons. My advice would be to straight up get this controller. Even you were considering getting a 1-2k controller just to save some bucks, re-consider. Because, the cheap ones do not last that long, the buttons start softening up, color starts fading, you might lose the Bluetooth adapter and a million other things.Would Recommend.

Feels worth it
The media could not be loaded. I am also using the PS5 DualSense controller and I can say that at first my initial thought was, "Damn, this feels smaller than the PS5 controller."This controller:> Feels heavy, durable and hence, premium.> has great grip.> has interesting triggers.> has great vibrations and haptic feed back.> uses 2 cells as batteries 🙄> works great in wireless and wired mode.> buttons are kind-of noisy when pressed as compared to PS5 controller.> comes in convenient packing than PS5 controller.> is more compatible with games than PS5 controller.> is missing anything called Adaptive Triggers and Touchpad.> doesn't have adaptive light like we have in DualSense & even DualShock controllers. e.g., When I was playing The Crew Motorfest with DualSense controller, the light was adapting to the gearing and revving of the car but there is no concept of this in the Xbox controller (No multi colored light, just a single white light. but trust me this single white light feels premium in its own way as well)

WORTH IT 101% MICROSOFT NEVER FAILS TO AMAZE
THE BEST, Microsoft's quality is unmatched earlier I was skeptical about spending 5k for a controller but now after I held this piece of art in my hands I was too elated, Redgear or Cosmic Byte can't match the quality of this controller the trigger buttons are tactile and is giving a good feedback , the vibrations are surreal, I bought this for my PC , games like Forza Horizon 4 , Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Redemption 2, the controller's build quality is top notch, the trigger and bumper buttons are textured, the package includes 14 Days XBOX LIVE ULTIMATE PASS and 2 OEM Duracell Batteries, the product is Made in China, you need to install Xbox Accessories App from MS Store and then apply the firmware update, the update may fail in the first but it'll update properly the second time, to turn off the controller you need press the XBOX Logo in the controller for like 12-15 secondsOverall a pretty good controller

Value for Money
I was confused between this and the DualSense one for PC gaming. And well it might not be as feature packed as the DualSense controller, but it just feels more premium and better built than it.Plus it really went well with my all white setup. And the DualSense features on PC aren't that great as of now, and even in the games that do support it they still feel pretty first gen. A bit gimmicky. Though I really loved how it worked with shotgun.
