This is the ONLY thing that has truly worked for my mixed skin. Whenever I wash my face or after a shower, my face is instantly like a desert with an oily forehead. The second I put some of this on my face it's as though I'm throwing some holy water on old plants that instantly bloom like magic. It is really THAT good. Its super smooth and has almost no smell but a really gentle light aroma that isn't perfume or anything fake or sweet. It just smells natural I don't know how else to explain it. It goes on very light and smooth and it actually SOAKS into my skin and hydrates it for the whole time I have it on until I was my face again. It doesn't feel like it's just sitting on top of my skin like lotion or other moisturizers I've tried. This one truly works and I would trade my first born child to be able to have an unlimited supply of this. I've been using it for years now and I'm so glad the price went from about $20 in store to whatever Amazon is selling it for at the moment. You can only find it in online now and if it weren't for that, my skin would be boo boo because this stuff properly hydrates my skin (and because of that cleared literally all of my acne (which was moderate to begin with)). PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY IT. I recommend this product to everyone, even my boyfriend who have a very oily complexion uses it and he loves it too. My mom has sensitive and extremely dry skin so she uses multiple products including this one because she likes it and it doesn't irritate her skin! 10/10 !!!

This is a great silicone based moisturizer. Great to use with silicone based foundations. Super moisturizing for dry skin and will NOT leave oil on your skin, so it's great for oily skin too. It soaks right in and disappears. It firms and plumps up skin a little bit, and other than that it is weightless and greaseless and feels great on the skin. It has a little bit of a strange smell to it. I only wish that I could find an equal product that is a little more natural. I don't know who wants dyes and scents in their products just to go from their fingers and then to soak into the skin. Not me. Here is the ingredient list. The product would be superior if a few were excluded.Update: I increased my review to 5 stars. The bottle took 3 months to go through with day and night use. Once it was gone I tried busting the bottle open to get the last little bit out. I could not find any other affordable gel moisturizer on the market that had similar ingredients. It works so well I had to repurchase. It will not ever break you out and it plumps out fine lines in your skin with no grease so oily feeling what so ever. It is truly amazing.

I've been really loving Garnier's skincare products lately, so when I was looking around for a new lightweight moisturizer for daytime use I wanted to see what options Garnier had. I saw that they just launched this moisturizer and it sounded exactly what I was looking for!I've been using this moisturizer religiously for the last few days, and my skin is really loving it!This moisturizer is a really lightweight gel formula that is dispensed by a pump, and is an opaque light blue color that almost looks like it could glow in the dark, lol. It's a very wet formula instead of creamy, but isn't runny, and it absorbs into the skin pretty quickly. You don't need much, one full pump will be enough for your entire face and maybe a half pump more for your neck. The scent IS rather cloying, and sweet though. It's not your typical "Garnier scent", it smells like berries. It's not the greatest scent ever, but it's not a deal breaker either, and it dissipates within 10 mins or so. Once the gel is absorbed, my skin feels very dewy and comfortably moisturized without being tacky or greasy or feeling weighed down by a heavy cream.This moisturizer does have quite a bit of dimethicone in it that initially gives you the baby soft skin feel. This may be a deal breaker for some and I'll admit, I was worried about it because I have combo skin and sometimes too much dimethicone makes me oilier or breaks me out. However, so far this moisturizer has not affected my skin in any negative way. If anything, I've been able to forgo foundation primer as this moisturizer acts as a beautiful primer in itself. My makeup applies so much nicer than with any of the other moisturizers I have tried under makeup over the past few years, and my makeup doesn't slide around after a few hours either! Even though the dimethicone gives kind of a false sense of softness, continued use over the past few days has increased the overall softness of my skin. This is even apparent after showering and cleansing before I've even applied the moisturizer. I'm really pleased and relieved that this isn't one of those products that fakes soft skin by using dimethicone without any actual softening properties.This moisturizer also has a very slight cooling effect while applying to the skin. It's not overly aggressive or irritating and stops by the time the gel is absorbed and dried.So far, I've noticed a significant improvement in the tone of my skin since using. I'm typically rather blotchy around my nose and chin, and have some hyperpigmentation around my temples. This moisturizer has left my skin looking brighter, more even, and finer lines seem to be smoothed and less noticeable. The last few days I've been able to use light coverage foundation without having to use concealer, and that's pretty remarkable since the last few months I've been needing more coverage than usual to even my skin out.All in all, I'd say this is a total must try if you're looking for something effective and light, and especially if you have combo skin that gets particularly dry in the colder months, or if your skin is looking ashy or dull. I'm going to continue using (twice a day; once after showering/cleansing in the morning and at night after cleansing and serums) and if the last few days have been any indication of what I can expect from continued use, this moisturizer just might get a HG status.

The title of the product is the absolute perfect description for the review. Ultra wake-up ! I bought it in January. We are now going into June. I used one pump per day and I'm just about ready for a new one. It lasted almost 6 months! A little goes a long way one pump with your morning coffee is the greatest way to start your day. No fuss you can use this when you're barely awake in the morning because one pump is the perfect amount. I literally kept it decorative box on my coffee table so when I was having my coffee, I put it on by the time I was done with my coffee. It was at the perfect silly smooth vibrant skin to the apply Make up to get out that door. I will admit many times I didn't even put on make up after because of my skin just looked so young and beautiful. I'm 57 my skin texture is that of a 25 year-old and I know this because I do have 23-year-old daughter who takes excellent care of herself. Five stars ...just buy it and make it a staple of your morning wake-up essentials. I referred to it as my coffee and cream the cream referring to this wake up hydration face cream! I'm being punny - but serious ! Just get it!
