I get a lot of sun exposure. Recently I started developing melasma on my forehead so I thought I'd try this. I mix it with water and apply to the face before I go out in the sun (on top of my sunblock). At night I mix it with yogurt and wear a mask. I can see the hyperpigmentation on my forehead starting to fade in one spot, and the new cheek hyperpigmentation I decided to try this after seeing a blog an experiment showing thanaka seemed to work slightly less than SPF 30. Living in the USA and not being Burmese, it looks different than I'm used to seeing on my face. But it's still cute in the same way coloured Zinc is cute. I am happy I bought this for summer and hope I get better at application that I can make cute designs.

Not worth it. I first was told it was a two week process for hair removal. Two hours with this stuff on every day. But after two weeks and no results, I did more research and I learned it takes 100 days of use, and you have to leave it in for two hours, every day for 100 weeks. No one has two hours to give up every day!

I am in love with this Thanaka powder. It makes a super face mask. Seriously my skin has never felt smoother after I apply this as a mask. I just put about 1T in my hand and drip a little water on it and rub my hands together onto my face. I let sit for a bit while I go do something else and just rinse off.I also add this to some of my soaps for a really stunning bar!

This can be made thicker or thinner based on amount of water added. I love the way my skin feels so soft after one use!

I have used thanaka powder for years. I swear by it as a daily face mask and acne treatment. Thanaka has worked wonders for my skin unfortunatly, this brand didnt live up to my expectations. Im used to a very fine flour-like texture when dry and creamy consistency when wet. This was completely different. It was like chunky wet sand when i mixed it with water. The mask didn't apply evenly to my face as other brands of thanaka I've used in the past and didn't seem to have the same effect on my skin.

First time i try thanaka but so far seems good quality and they gave me a free moringa tea which is nice!

This really works on acne, it even smoothes the skin. Looks like it even removes the scaring on my face. Love this product! It's awesome!
