Great Tool
I own several CDI torque wrenches, this is why:First, they look good -- chrome plating with laser etched markings makes a tool that looks great and will be easy to clean. I know its just a tool, but having a tool that looks good in your hand is more fun to use.The micrometer adjustment is in 10's around the dial so there is no adding or guessing what your setting is. I have used others in 15 lb graduations and this tool removes the fuss. Simply pull back on the spring loaded sleeve and rotate the main body to make adjustments. Let go and it locks right in. Others I have used have a locking dial on the handle end which can become loose and you lose your setting. The handle is just the right length.CDI has excellent customer support. I contacted them prior to ordering and a tech spent plenty of time explaining the specifics of their wrenches.I called the tech for an explanation on accuracy ratings. This wrench is accurate within +/- 4% from 20% to 100% of full scale -- my certificate of calibration states values much lower than this (from .5 - 2.5%). 20% to 100% is industry standard though some torque wrench's will be accurate to +/- 3%. In this case 20% of 150 in/lb is 30 in/lb. So this tool will be increasingly less accurate the farther below 30 in/lb you go. This is due to lack of compression on the spring in the lower range. Really this wrench should be labeled as a 30 - 150 in/lb wrench, corresponding to the included certificate of calibration (meaning: my cert. of calibration labels this wrench as 30 - 150 ft/lb).Just know that with ANY spring type click wrench the low capability should be 20% of max even if dial will indicate a lower setting.

A Quality U.S.A. Made Tool
CDI Torque 2502MRMH 3/8-Inch Drive Metal Handle Click Type Torque Wrench, Torque Range 30 to 250-IncLet me start off by saying this is an AWESOME torque wrench. Yes the price is high. Yes you could get one for much cheaper. But there are 2 HUGE reasons why this is a better torque wrench than most.3/8 drive with INCH pounds!!!! I cannot tell you how freaking hard it is to find a torque wrench in inch pounds with 3/8 drive. Every spark plug socket I've ever used is 3/8 drive and every inch pound torque wrench I've found is 1/4, which means messing around with adapters that throw off your accuracy. I'm not about that life. Speaking of which....It is ACCURATE! + or - 4% at this small of a torque range means when that wrench clicks you are right on that specified torque. This is critical for things like spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, oil pans, coil pack screws etc. Having something accurate you can trust is critical, and this tool meets the bill. The wrench itself comes in a blow mold case with the wrench itself inside along with a manual and the specific torque test results done for that wrench. The outside of the case says that CDI is a Snap-on company (which it is). That should give you an idea of the quality you are getting. Warranty is about average at I believe 1 year, but the beauty of a wrench like this is that it wouldn't be silly to get it recalibrated after so much use.Would recommend.

Great value in a quality wrench
Dollar for dollar, this wrench is a winner. In terms of fit and finish, it is virtually identical to a Snap-on torque wrench I own, which costs nearly 4-times as much. The Snap-on wrench may be more durable in professional use, due to what appears to be a more robust ratcheting head, but any performance difference is not immediately evident. I also own wrenches manufactured by Craftsman and Gear Wrench and it’s clearly superior to either of those. The construction is all metal and the knurled handle provides a positive grip. Torque settings are laser engraved and easy to read, and the spring-loaded collar positively locks the wrench to whatever setting you choose. Another feature that I really like about the CDI wrench, is the fact that you can lock the ratchet. This is very useful when you’re using extensions, or dog-bones.In my opinion, there’s nothing not to like about this wrench. I just purchased it a short time ago, so I can’t speak to its long-term performance or durability, but I have no reason to believe, that with proper care, it won’t last a very long time.I think this is a great wrench for the money and I would certainly look to CDI for my next torque wrench purchase.

Almost 5 years of use, no issues
This is the nicest torque wrench I've owned, after almost 5 years of use on different motorcycles, on critical bolts it's been very reliable with a smooth click motion. It feels consistent. Would recommend as a tool you can "trust" without breaking the bank. Only complaint is the reverse/fixed switch stays in place but could be a bit firmer (easy to knock out of position).
