Very satisfied
I purchased 2 raised garden beds. I brought this product to seal them and a different product. I put this on one of my garden beds and the other product on the other garden bed. I tested both products out after they dried by pouring water on the beds and seeing how much of the water beaded up. I ended going back and apply this to both. This is thick so it does take time to apply it (you will want to use glives). You will have to do more than one application, and allow it to dry inbetween applications. I did cut this with a solvent. Some reviews said it didnt dry for them or it was sticky. I didnt run into that problem. I applied it outside during the summer in the shade and let it dry over night before adding a second application and there was no stickiness for me. I did three applications and let them sit out for a couple of days. Mainly because I hot busy. But when I hot back to them they were completely dry and stickiness. Will definitely buy this product again.

Great product delivered great result.
Great quality tung oil. My teak outdoor rockers look awesome. No smell and works great at a very good price point. Pictures of before, prepped, and finished with tung oil.So far, very water repellent.

Non-toxic and easy to apply.
I used pure tung oil to finish and preserve the plywood interior of my trailer. Worked well. Easy to apply. No smell other than a slight natural oil smell which dissipated quickly. Loved that it is non-toxic! Very happy with the result. Will be using it to finish some wood trays that will be for sale.

Mixed feelings and an interesting warning label
Definitely a thick oil. Used this on some walnut utensils I made and are on the fence about durability, especially long term..My first use of it made my spoon look fabulous... Now bare in mind, I didn't use a lot.. basically a thin coat made the it shine beautifully. I let it dry for a few days where following the first use, and washing it by hand, seemed that the finish degraded / streaked. (See photo)Accepting it may be user error, I sanded it down, but the oil def had seeped in, (see the tip of the fork), and left a kind of residue. So hoping it would equal out, I soaked the spoons, along with some new utensils I made in the oil for more than a full day, then wiped them down and let them dry for about a week..In majority, having used them all a few times since, they've only dulled a tad, but for me (and my wife), its noticeable and we both wonder why. That said, I'm unclear what the true expectation really should be, however, compared to my low end store-bought wood utensils I've done nothing too but put them through the wringer, they haven't much changed, (aside of wear and tear), as well I believe those are made of teak, verses mine in walnut. The other thing that raises an eye brow is that the label says, "May spontaneously combust". Guess only time will tell if my utensils combust in the future, (hopefully they do not), as well, I keep the bottle in a cool and shady place. But, for a product intended to make things food safe.. It seems a sense of an oxymoron exists per what exactly should be considered "safe".With that, I think 4 stars is generous.

Walrus makes great products
I like Tung oil on furniture that I build. It brings out the warm depth of natural wood like this cherry coffee/puzzle table that I'm building. Easy to use. I trust Walrus 100% Tung Oil. Just be aware that if you haven't used 100% tung oil as a finish before, it takes a long time in comparison to other finishes to apply. I prefer thin coats and to let them polymerize/cure for several days between applications. I also like to cure the coats outside on dry, sunny days. This oil will not yellow with age. If applied and cured properly, provides great protection with low lustre for a long time, and can be touched up with more tung oil when you want. I really like it for heirloom furniture pieces that I make and can be used on pieces that reside indoors or outside.

Great Results
This works good on my cutting boards and wooden knife handles. But after applying to the wood and before using your cutting board. Let it dry for a couple of days before using your board.
