This knife is super lightweight. Based on the size of the knife, when you pick it up you don’t expect it to be so lightweight. That’s a huge plus because you don’t have to wield something heavy and worry about precision cuts. The knife is super sharp. Kuhn Rikon makes the highest quality products.

This and my other Kuhn Rikon knives are super sharp. This one gave my eyeballs papercuts from looking at it too long. 10/10.

The best knives Ever!!! I got paring knives , too. I will be giving these out as gifts.As a dedicated foodie and great cook, I am always in search of good knives that will make my food preparation faster and easier. I tried these at friend's house and immediately ordered them .Great quality, fun colors, light but stable , cuts through everything as if it was hot butter. No need to press down or make any effort. Food (mostly) slides off it. Even if this one is not serrated - it cuts easily through any type of bread ! Amazing.I will be taking them on my trips, thanks to the nice protecting cover.Be careful : Very sharp. And I hope it will stay that way for a long time.

I bought this knife along with the Khun Rikon Color Chef's knife graphite knife, I decided that I wanted the two different designs. Actually,as of now and having only used them for a couple of things, I think they will be interchangeable except where the design will make a difference. I was turned on to this manufacturer when I bought a paring knife from this brand and gave the same as a gift. I was blown away by the light weight, the sharpness especially and that it became my go-to knife for ANYTHING. Inexpensive and worth every dollar. You will not be disappointed. Every cook should have at hand a tool that makes kitchen labor easier. Thank you for making this product.

I have not used this particular knife yet, but have used one someone else has, which is why I bought my own. It works very well for chopping root vegetables and is very sharp. Seems to be made well for the price point. The handle seems to be made of molded plastic with no rivets. I cannot tell how far down into the handle the blade goes. I like that it comes with a protective blade sheath since it is so sharp.

I love this knife. Cheap but great. I may even like it more than the Victorinox one I (and everyone else) got after Cooks Illustrated said they were the bomb. I'm kind of small and have 6.5 glove size hands. This works better for me than the bigger Victorinox. Blade is still razor sharp and I haven't needed to sharpen it. Have used it at least every other day for 6 months. Graphite color is super cool looking as a bonus.Update: have moved this to our AirBnb rental house and I miss it! Guests have been abusing it (and the pointy black one) for a year and it is still perfect. Haven't even needed to sharpen it yet. When we are done our remodel, I'm getting more of these!

I have had a couple of Kuhn Rikon paring knives for years (8 I think) that I love, so I added this one to the collection. Kuhn Rikon cutlery is light weight, so your hands/wrists don't get tired when chopping a lot. The blades stay sharp for a long time - I have yet to sharpen mine and I've had them at least 8 years and I cook A LOT! The cover that slides over the blade is nice as it protects your hands if you are rummaging around in a utensil drawer. They come in different colors which is nice if you prefer to keep your meat knives separate from what you use for vegetables and fruits. I can't say enough good things about them!

I buy Kuhn Rikon because they make quality products. This knife according to the picture is black trimmed in teal blue. The sheath appears to be teal blue. The knife/sheath I received is completely black. I only bought it because it was pretty and different from others I have. The knife is probably just fine but not what I was expecting. Returned.
