Works well to keep the sun off your face. Not the greatest with wind, though.
I bought this as a sun-brella to keep the sun off of my face in Florida while I walk. I had Mohs surgery on my face so I need more than just sunscreen. The umbrella has some basic pros and a con. Pros: It works! It is lightweight and easy to carry in your purse and while holding it. The umbrella is pretty and the underside of the umbrella is black which I guess is what keeps the sun from shining through. I definitely feel noticeably cooler and more protected when I use it. And the one day I left it in my car and walked to work, I surely missed it!The only real con for me is that is really doesn’t do well in the wind. In my experience, anything more than the lightest of breeze and this things wants to turn inside out. I have not used it in the rain, so I can’t speak to that, however, I did not buy it for a rain umbrella.

Excellent Sun Parasol! Keeps it Cool!
If you hate being sunbaked get this for festivals, trips, hikes, took it to Hawaii and it took a bearing but it’s still going so I got my friend one and she loves it, it does make it cooler underneath!

LOVE - Saves me from burning/sun headaches
Absolutely love this item. It's perfect travel size. I have taken it to festivals, to Mexico, and to Puerto Rico. I am very fair skinned and this allows me to stay outside longer without being worried about getting too hot or burned. I just bought another one to always keep in the car. Love this product!!!

Sun blocker perfection
Very sturdy and great quality easy to carry around on hot days. Definitely feels way cooler under this umbrella than regular umbrellas. Highly recommend.

Gets moldy…
This umbrella is super cute, but is strictly for UV. It’s not very wind resistant tbh, but the wind where I live isn’t gentle. I would honestly recommend a different umbrella, get something better for your moneyAnd ps: don’t use it in the rain. Even after letting it dry completely out gets moldy
