Fantastic little light you can use for all kinds of creative projects. I use mine as a fill light for video (using a white light) and also as a background accent light in RGB mode (I change mine to teal, blue or magenta depending on mood). The light also comes with a wrap-around diffuser which does an excellent job of softening the light. Turns it into a glowing ball of light! The one thing I didn’t care for with this light was the mobile app. The design and UX of it isn’t all that great. Hard to setup and use. No instructions in the box or in the mobile app. Through sheer determination and experimentation I eventually figured it out. Now I can control everything on the light with my phone.

Since I got this, I have used it on almost every video shoot I have been on! I still light my subjects with full-sized lights, but where this little light has become a hero is for the background. Those little nooks and crannies in the background of shots (especially in interviews) that just need a little extra light. The light is easy to set to whatever HSL color you want, or the color temperature of white light. Brightness is adjusted simply with a wheel on the side. The info screen is easy to understand and navigate. If you need it to do more complex things, you can connect to the app.The App works well (a little more work to figure it out) but I have never had any issue connecting the light to it. (Which is often where apps for camera and lighting fall apart... they are no good to me if I cannot get the equipment to connect to it when I am out in the field!) But the app for this light remembers my light every time and connects instantly.Battery life is surprisingly good! At full brightness, it lasts more than an hour. It does seem a little slow to charge back up again, but I have run it while it was plugged in and it seemed to work fine. You can run it from an outlet or from a power bank if you have the right kind.Overall, I love this light and plan to purchase more in the future. I really didn't realize how handy this little thing would be when I got it, and now I consider it to be part of my everyday kit.

La posibilidad de subir o bajar la intensidad y temperatura ayuda mucho a integrarla al esquema con control de su efecto

I bought a Lume cube first before I found out about this. The MC is miles better for a few dollars more. Awesome features and very versatile. The iOS version of the app works much better than android. Fortunately, I have both, so I'm fine in that department. I eventually got a second MC and it's awesome to control both remotely with the app. I'll definitely get more Aputure products in the future

This thing is almost everything it claims to be. In the week since I received it, I've used it as an accent light for youtube videos, as a contrast and main light for product shoots, and I'll be using it this weekend at a wedding for anything I can. Small enough to keep on me all the time, it's useful for everything from a lamp (mixed with a Neewer clamp and arm) to a very low powered key light in desperate situations. I plan on buying several, but only if Aputure gets on it with an Android app. As of now, Sidus is only on IOS, which is fine except that they claim it's IOS and Android EVERYWHERE. Even without app control, this thing is a beast. It's incredibly exciting to see where the industry is headed. I'll bump it up to five stars as soon as Sidus comes out on googleplay.
